Help me decide which summer frag to get

I want a natural, light, non harsh/synthetic citrus bright summer scent. For me rare Reef was way too harsh and toilet cleanery. So which of these is most natural smelling? If you have other recommendations let me know!

What is this?

Some blue thing on it, inside of the packaging. Someone said it might be a vein but I am quite doubtful of that.

I just watch the final episode of season 4

I think I'm going to need a few days to recover from the shell shock.

My first "expensive" fragrance - Fico Di Amalfi

I know this is far for an "expensive" fragrance compared to some of the stuff out there or shared here, but so far I haven't been in a financial position to justify over £40 for a fragrance, and to be honest I'm probably still not, but I just thought with what seems like WW3 or the next pandemic round the corner I might as well get a little early graduation present.

I still think there are quite a few cheaper fragrances that do a good job with the winter side of things but I just found that no matter what I tried, none of the cheaper stuff managed to get the summer citrus/light breezy scent down without smelling harsh or synthetic. And after my first spray of Fico many months ago, I just absolutely fell in love and haven't been able to forget it. To me it is such an utterly incredible light, gentle summer citrus with the right balance of sweetness from the fig.

Now I know longevity is a major issue, but that's why I got the 180ml, I'm just going to go absolutely overboard with sprays whenever I wear it and then hopefully it should last the day. I don't even care about offending others because it's just so insanely good.

Anyway, just wanted to share, feels like a nice milestone, I'm hoping this price range will stop me from becoming addicted, but I'm sure that's what everyone said after their first "bigger" purchase😅

Bujairami Madness Extreme Review - Ombre Nomade Dupe

*Post Maceration review*

In total I've seen one single review of this fragrance on here and not really any elsewhere on social media so I went in a bit blind. The biggest thing that convinced me to buy was when I saw a video of the man himself, Adam Bujairami, claiming that this is 99% similar to the OG and that the "grade 1 (highest quality grade)" oud and high oil concentration and quality is what results in it being the most expensive Bujairami fragrance they sell. Unfortunately I can confidently say it is not 99%.

Some of you maybe aware that there is also a regular "Madness" version, which is supposed to be the cheaper and slightly less intense version, with again quote the extreme being reserved for the "oud lovers".

Well, in the opening it is a bit alcoholic and and you get that sweet raspberry and rose notes. Then as it starts to dry down you get smokiness and incense. Now unfortunately this is essentially where it begins to become linear as for the rest of its journey it essentially remained a smoky raspberry/rose incense smell. You get perhaps a little bit of oud coming through far into the dry down, but it never comes anywhere close to that animalic, atomic, dark and dirty intense oud of the OG. Essentially it smells almost the same as my $20 zimaya night shadow, so for $72, I am quite unimpressed.

Oil concentration to be fair, is visible, when I put on two sprays I could clearly see my skin glistening even in the shade, and so the longevity and projection too is decent. Nice atomizer, nice glass bottle (cap is a bit cheap).

Ultimately I would personally say this is 80% similar to the OG. I think people and influencers in general have been very quick to claim all sorts of dupes are 90%+ but in my experience that has been rare. I am very curious about Jean Lowe noir, I have heard many good things, and if even $72 can't get you close, you might as well stick to the cheaper stuff.

Bought used, the liquid colour seems a little different to what I've seen online as does the shape of the feeder tube? Thanks.

(ignore the ai slop photo😅)

They both have hype, both seem to be trying make high quality fragrances in an affordable category, and have also duped many similar fragrances like the LV line. They weren't widely available in the UK but apparently soon they will be so I want to be prepared.

I'm mainly now looking for nice summer scents. Which brand would you recommend purely based on scent quality, smelling natural and potentially closeness to the OG's though if it smells good this doesn't really matter. I don't care so much about performance because I can just overspray.
