Which one should i buy? i am confused between Edp and Parfum version, I have tried both in Duty Free areas, I want masculine one, and please tell me which website is genuine to buy perfumes in India! thankyou!

Purchased it on September 2024, it has been lying inside my wardrobe for few weeks. My guess? prolly heat.

I have never tried these three, and I want to purchase one of them, so please give me suggestions. Also, if you have any other perfume suggestions

I’m looking for recommendations for a Middle Eastern fragrance that feels fresh, light, and suitable for summer wear. My current favorite is Arabiyat Prestige Marwa—I really enjoy its clean, refreshing profile. Something similar in terms of the uniqueness of fragrance would be great.

Longevity and strong projection aren’t a priority for me , focus is on best smelling.

I spend most of my time in air-conditioned environments and don’t mind reapplying during the day (I’m typically in the office for about 5 hours and can carry a small decant).

I have started collecting perfumes after seeing jpg edits, i always thought that designer perfumes would smell very impressive after seeing their edits and reviews online, but they are not mind blowing good, i smelled them in mall mostly and brought few, for me perfume is something like it should make people impressed as soon as they smell me, date night perfumes should seduce woman, intoxicate them, so which perfume do u think have these dramatic effects, i know perfume is not some magic that will make this happen but i am asking which perfume do u think u have encountered thats dramatically good in Freshness, seduction, mass pleasing, complement magnet

Thought of sharing it with you and also I've smelled many more perfumes but i actually don't have their decants, for example i had ysl y and fakhar and hawas decants and many more but this is what I've right now.

These are some perfumes I use if I go for a casual walk or to the gym. I don't think they need a place to be stored well. But ig being in the box doesn't damage it much

Got this few days back after trying a decant of missoni wave.

I absolutely love missoni wave. Its fresh but the creamy vanilla is the absolute highlight.

This on the other hand is fresh AF. When this hits you, its the best thing.

I tried indoors and could not smell at all. I dont think I could go noseblind with this.

But when I tried it after a gym session today as I stepped out of the gym in the sun.

Man, it hit me just like missoni wave does normally. Could feel it projecting strongly for almost an hour.

Not sure if this needs heat to project but I dont see the performance after an hour.

Anyone has had a different experience? Pls share.

Thinking of grabbing the missoni wave somewhere in May. As it lasts much longer and stronger on my skin and clothes even though its an EDT.

My friend is working in Europe, he received this for his Birthday, is it real, can't find any details on this perfume online. Could you kindly help me figure out the authenticity of this. He thinks it's a version of Versace.

Both smell pretty close icl, same overall vibe.

Opening is where they differ a bit.YSL Y is a bit more harsh at first with that strong alcohol hit, while Fakhar is smoother and easier right off the spray.

Performance is not even close though. YSL Y is straight beast mode for me ,easily 12+ hours. Fakhar lasts like 4–5 hours max.

After the dry down, you can immediately tell YSL uses better ingredients. It smells more refined and kinda “introduces itself” to your nose instead of just slapping you with projection. Fakhar projects decently for like 2 hours, then it’s basically a skin scent.

I mainly got Fakhar because I didn’t wanna use an expensive (atleast for me) fragrance daily , and honestly I’m not disappointed. It does the job well as a cheaper everyday option, but YSL Y is clearly on another level.

This is reposted not mine. A user bought Viking from EM5 and the perfume was spoilt and he get rashes after applying it. Their current Sundarbans is a good range though, so mixed opinions

This time it's Menworks- a brand I've been following regularly and really appreciate the business model and market approach. I love that they allow you to make your own sets (unlike certain other brands which have predetermined discovery sets), and also give you the choice to order 2 ml samples.

Just like previous reviews, I haven't tried any OGs yet so I'll be forming my opinions based on the price, and the quality that you get in that range on their own, while adding some comparisons with other similar scent profiles. So sit back, relax and read these reviews which will (hopefully) help you decide whether to get one of these or not :)

1. Pineapple Mafia (5.5/10):

They sent this free sample with the 4x15ml set in my order. I've tried Arabian Aroma's Seducation (AAS) and Qaeed Al Fursan (Qaf) before as my primary pineapple heavy scents, so I'll be comparing this to those. Really nothing too different from them. Opens with a strong pineapple note, and it stays pretty linear throughout. There’s a bit of powderiness to it which makes it a dry-ish pineapple, along with a very mild woody touch in the background. Not the most complex scent profile tbh. It kinda performs better on skin than the clothes for some reason though? You can say it sits somewhere between Qaf (juicier) and AAS (more synthetic) in terms of overall scent profile and quality.

Projection- Somewhat loud enough for 30ish mins
Longevity- Around 4-4.5 hours

2. The Bleu (6.5/10):

Kind of weird to call it Bleu without making it a clone of BDC. Could've called it "Y Not" instead. I've tried Fakhar and Arabian Aroma's Y before, and this one somewhat reminds me of AA. AA reminds me more of Aether Extr., but Bleu is more citrusy which kinda pushes down the apple note a bit. There’s a very mild ginger nuance in the opening, which sort of made it dry (idk why ginger makes me feel so). Surprisingly, it also develops a slight aquatic and fresh touch along the way, with some musk coming in during the drydown. Again, the DNA is nothing special, but definitely a dumb safe reach which is easy to wear and inoffensive. My colleague liked this one the most out of these 5.

Projection- Mild for around 40-45 mins
Longevity- Approx. 4.5-5 hours, and then goes off completely

3. Imperial Leather (5/10):

This is one of those clones which makes you understand that it just may not be loyal to the OG scent profile. Imperial Leather opens with a very mild fruity note mixed with citrus—maybe something like raspberry? It’s not very prominent though, and fades away within 5-10 mins. After that, it settles into a very leather-forward drydown. It’s quite dry, and you really have to be into leather as a note to enjoy this. The leather is the main focus here, but it's not a very strong scent overall. On my 5th or 6th wear, I found that it had developed a slightly sweet leathery vibe which made it a bit more likeable for me, and actually made me go "Oooh this might actually be really good if I was into leather". I'll probably leave it for further maceration and give it another go.

Projection- Decent in the first 15-20 mins, a bit milder for the next 15-20 mins
Longevity- 5-6 hours, kind of a letdown for a leather forward scent

4. Velvet Sin (6/10):

If you've watched Scentimental's review on this, just know that he wasn't exaggerating when he said that it was a monster. This one opens VERY loud and VERY sweet, and even a single spray can fill up the room completely. It has that sticky rose syrup kind of sweetness which is almost like sugar syrup. As it progresses, it moves towards a very mild woody vanilla drydown after about 4–5 hours, while maintaining that sugary sweetness. It also starts getting a bit ambery at that stage, which I didn’t find very pleasant up close on skin tbh, but in the air, it actually smells quite good. Feels like something that would work better in winter, especially in open air settings. It's not something you can wear daily, but definitely something that'll do an amazing job during occasions where it's MEANT to be worn.

Projection- 2 hours easy
Longevity- Easy 10-12 hours (I even got whiffs after a bath- 2 sprays on the wrist)

5. Ingenious (8.5/10):

Best of the lot for me. I've tried a few clones with the Tygar/IG DNA, and the twist that they put in this made it one of my favorites. Opens with a bright, sweet citrus along with a fizzy ginger note, which makes it very lively in the first couple of minutes. There’s also something like fennel in there (not officially mentioned, but that’s what I felt). It’s VERY loud in the first 4-5 minutes. Honestly, I didn’t notice the ginger properly the first time I sprayed it, but once it comes through, it stays quite noticeable. As it dries down, it becomes a very sweet profile with some airy vanilla, maybe some floral/musky elements too. Has that sugary, slightly syrupy kind of sweetness, with the ginger still lingering in the background. It’s sweeter than Theoreme and less paan vibes overall. A good inoffensive daily wear which works equally well during special occasions. PRO TIP: Try layering it with Al Rehab's Sultan attar

Projection- Around an hour of decent projection
Longevity- Around 6ish hours

Sooo that's all you get for now. I'm waiting for them to release their Afternoon Swim and L'immensite clones so that I can make a set of Cuban Pride, Profondo and these 2 for my next review. I'll probably also add a few 2 ml samples of some interesting scent profiles that they have as well.

For this summer we have 9 scents for rotation and the rankings go as ;

1. Versace Dylan Blue EDT

Absolutely nothing beats this timeless class blue scent machine. One of the no brainer pick-ups for Office/Gym/Market/Dates/Dinners/Meet ups/Functions and will 100% make you smell - fresh, put up and confident. Opens with very fresh - slightly aquatic and after a while comes the spicy and incensey vibe and dries to musky woody skin scent. Performance is on point despite being an EDT - 6 hours roughly. If you are looking for a scent that speaks of "Well groomed office guy" - don't think further and snatch a bottle of Dylan Blue 🔵

2. JPG le beau paradise garden edp

IDK why people get this one associated with Parachute Oil. Like okay it's coconuty - as it should be for a tropical scent - but in the opening the minty green burst is something very unique and refreshing. In this heat - the coconut works well at least for me - gives a very nice beachy vibes in a landlock place 🫠. Opens with nice fresh green scent and turns to Creamy tropical and lasts/projects crazy. When I use the paradise garden - at least half of the floor in my office gets to know I'm passing through! But that being said - if you really can't stand the coconuty smell - avoid it completely.

3. Dior Sauvage EDP

What to even write for the king of blues! Versatile and always sexy! The sharp opening of bergamot and later the Ambroxan is very loud and attention grabbing! The hate for Sauvage is too much forced and mostly because every other guy uses it - but I can't see many around me wearing Sauvage - at least in India this argument doesn't hold that every guy smells like Sauvage !

4. Valentino Born in Roma Uomo EDT

The old classic EDT version of Valentino still holds for me today as well! It's more fresh than Born in Roma intense! Woody and fresh spicy with good lavender stint. It's not some unique scent - very generic and common but done right! Have received a great deal of compliments from this one - especially dinner parties. In the start some might feel slight synthetic Opening but overall it's a good fresh and spicy scent. A classy guy in the evening vibe.

5. Davidoff Cool Water EDT

The start of all blue fragrances and the one from which all other blues took inspiration! Literally out of the shower - an expensive shower gel in the form of spray bursts. Too bad that it lasts only 30 minutes at max hence I use it immediately after morning shower and stays till I reach the office in 30-40 minutes. Have heard the reborn edition is a bit lasting - need to try

6. Naseem Aqua Parfum

A water based fragrance but don't take it lightly - it projects crazy and lasts 4 hours despite being a water based fragrance. Very fresh and my gym signature scent - has a very nice spicy ginger opening. Very addictive smell and just at 1200 INR is a bomb deal!

7. Afnan Rare Reef Edp

Peeling an orange and later sitting and chilling in an aromatic flower garden - the perfect description for the clone of afternoon swim. Starts literally like an orange and turns to a fruity skin scent - projects very well and lasts like a beast on clothes.

8. Rassasi Fattan EDP

The mature - green vibe scent with earthy and mossy vibe. Definitely not for all - some might literally feel this as a chemical but it's a very unique green fresh scent and can be used in the office and for 1.5k bucks is a great deal imo. It can be a signature scent for more mature office guys!

9. Albait Aldimashqi Blue De EDP

I had very high hopes from this one - but it's a very very generic blue scent and idk why it smells like oil to me still. It's been a month of maceration but still it doesn't perform well. Though not something I would ever recommend but a simple blue scent with aqua and floral notes.

lastly sometimes I use two Roll Ons as a base - Naseem Mukhallat ( Smells like melon - literally creamy melon ) and Musk Tahara ( musk - skin like scent - fresh laundry smell )

its v nice and doesnt hurt my brain but i cant find it anywhere? i really hope this isnt the original one and is a dupe bcs i rly wanna get the bigger bottle if it has any
