Feeling tortured over this.

They’re so simular but so different.
Scholarships so cost is reasonable and similar.

Work hard, party hard (or harder).

Tulane campus feels a little small.
Miami is kind of flashy.

Tulane 3years on campus, 1 year off
Miami 1 year on campus, 3 years off

Thinking Biology but might switch.
Easy to do at Tulane, a little trickier at Miami.

Losing hair over this. Help??!!

When we toured Tulane, our guide told us that she had changed majors three times. Is it really as simple as just deciding you’d like to take a different course of study? Even if your new major is in a different school within the university? (Talking about switching to the business school in particular)

TikTok and Instagram make us believe that everyone is living a yacht party / bottle service / clubbing college life in Miami. What percentage of kids really are?
Can a middle class kid wanting to go to school and have fun, fit in and feel comfortable at the U?

High school senior trying to decide between Tulane and University of Miami. Help me decide?

Biology major - not in any honors program.

Down to the wire, it’s almost May 1st.

Both schools offered significant scholarships and costs are about the same (I know, until off-campus life at Miami hits)

Worried about grade deflation, weed out culture, access to volunteer and research opportunities.

And mostly, what percentage of pre-med freshmen actually stuck with it? And how many get into a US med school?

Which would you choose and why?

Thanks
