Unpopular opinion: AI UGC is the reason you’re making NO MONEY!

I see a lot of people who recommend AI UGC ads, and I just wanna say one thing. Stop wasting your money. This is my personal opinion, and it's based on real-life results. So if you disagree with this, then we can debate all this. But in this day and age, AI advertising is really frowned upon unless you are promoting something for 50 plus year olds, but your AI ads are sloppy, and they're the reason why you're burning money and basically giving your money to Mark Zuckerberg with no return. You don't realize how cheap it is to have someone make ads for you. You don't need $500 from a website. You only need your product, and that's it. Either one, you film a video yourself, or two, you find someone for a gifted UGC. The only cost is the product cost and the shipping, which I assume wouldn't be more than $15 to $20. It's such a great deal to give someone your product, they make a UGC in return, and you use it for ads. This will make your conversion rate from non-existent to stable.

Would you rather spend $50 a day with no return or spend $20 for someone to make you a video and actually get results from your ads? In reality, not spending money on your ads or not putting effort in will only make you lose money. I said what I said, and I hope you take that as an advice and stop making AI UGC because 99% of the time it's sloppy and bad.

Post your questions in the comments and I will answer. Have a nice day! (No, I’m not selling anything)

Why are people buying a different product than the one in my ad?

I’m running Meta ads for a shirt from my clothing brand and the campaign is actually converting, but for some reason people keep buying the underwear set instead of the shirt in the ad 😭

What confuses me is that I specifically linked the shirt product in the ad. The creative is fully focused on the shirt too, but people still click through, browse the site, and end up purchasing something else entirely. I’m still making a small profit per order, which honestly surprised me because I expected to lose money while testing.

I’m starting to think they like the overall aesthetic/store vibe but the underwear feels like an easier impulse purchase or lower-risk buy.

Has anyone else had this happen where one product brings people into the store but a completely different product becomes the thing that actually converts?

I run a small feminine/coquette clothing brand and I’m looking for a few girls to send pieces to in exchange for content for ads.

This is a gifted collab, if your content converts well we can discuss future paid collabs. You’ll get items from the new drop.

Looking for:
pretty / soft / coquette vibe
good taste + clean visuals
TikTok or IG content (try-on, outfit vids, or aesthetic clips)

If it fits your style, comment or DM me your @ and I’ll check your page 💌

(Pics showing the style/vibe I’m looking for)

Hi I just really need to know if this is not unusual I’ve been getting abused this way since over a decade ago and everyone calls me crazy and that im mentally ill. no one helps, not therapists not neighbors not even the police. for reference, I am 5’7 105 pounds and i get hit like this by male family members (Father 5’9, 190 pounds and brother 6’2 220pounds) I don’t know what else to say.

edit: i have tens of these and once they almost fade i get new ones, i have more pics that are way more brutal but i dont feel like sharing because they kind of show too much.

My ex was a manifestor, he believed in it and practiced it. We’ve been broken up for months now, and I had let go and healed. But starting two days ago, I’ve become obsessed again. I couldn’t sleep until 7 a.m., just thinking about him and trying to reach him without actually reaching out. I suddenly feel this overwhelming pull. I use tarot in my daily life, and his feelings keep showing up as still romantic, and I’m getting cards like The Fool, signaling new beginnings. I don’t know if I’m going insane.

I run a clothing brand that I want to build long term, not just for quick profit. The problem is cash flow. Right now I rely on paid ads for sales, but they require upfront money and limit how much I can scale. Even when things work, I feel stuck because I can’t consistently reinvest.

I’m considering shifting partially to organic dropshipping or content driven sales to generate cash without relying on ad spend.

At the same time, I don’t have time to waste because I’m looking forward to make some money by a certain time. Please tell me what you think! Thanks
