With The Shark that Roared coming out, I want a documentary on Jaws 3 next!

I guess it’s debated which is worse. 3 or 4. Neither are great films and could ever match the original. But they’re just so bad they can be pretty entertaining. But I want to see what went on behind the scenes of 3. Just some of the pictures of the sets and the puppets look really fascinating! It looks they actually made a shark animatronic that big. And maybe reveal how they were experimenting with this then new 3-D technology that obviously didn’t work well. And how originally it was supposed to be a spoof film. I really want to know what happened.

I can vaguely describe it. It was in the mid 2000s. From what I can remember it was a poster of a shaved man’s head but looked like a a giant lawn. And that’s all I got. I wish I could know what movie it was advertising.

I know I know Heat has a novel sequel coming out soon. But I was reading about the film and never knew it was partially based on a true story. Robert De Niro’s character was a real guy who actually went to the same prison, met the detective in a coffee shop, engaged in a big shootout in the streets with each other, and was eventually shot by him. I can’t find a book based on it. So could anyone recommend me some? I guess fiction is fine too. Any books based on career criminals or big elaborate heists.

I’m confused. It says it was released on it but can’t find it anywhere on the PlayStation network. I know the original is so what am I missing here?

I’d say about 95% of the film is fantastic! The acting, the purposely ugly cinematography, the futuristic but semi still realistic future, the action scenes, especially the Spyder scene, the twist ending. But once it gets to that last reel… up until this point the film is dark and ominous. But here it’s like Spielberg just throws out everything and says end on a fairy tale ending.
The plot is wrapped up too easily. John and wife get back together and decide to have another kid, the precogs are released to their own safe haven, all the inmates are released, and the program is shut down. I know this is already a common criticism but I just had to express it as well. Still a great film don’t get me wrong though.

I’m currently reading up on both. I just discovered them! Yeah I know late to the game. But I’m reading Steel Rift is much more faster paced and streamlined compared to Battletech. So if you played it would you say you no longer need Battletech? Or do you still prefer the more complex rules?

Obviously I know of survival ones like Alien, The Thing, Nemesis. And I’ve heard they can be played solo. I don’t know maybe this is the same. I want one I can play solo but maybe has multiple characters pieces. Like if I control a group of people and try to get them through to the end. Maybe some or all die off along the way. If that makes sense.
