Did this movie exist or did I make it all up in my head?

So this movie that I vaguely remember watching when I was a child and I remember liking it a lot. I can’t remember the plot so much but I remember the giant. So I know the whole story revolves around a giant creature like thing and it starts off super small and then grows into a whole giant. It befriends a boy maybe in his mid to early teens or maybe a bit younger. And I remember it giving like a fantasy vibe but not fairy or forest like. It was not a cartoon but like real life actors. Probably late 90s- early 2000s movie. And this giant was almost baby like, infant like, I don’t remember it talking. I remember the boy being very protective of the creature and I think in the end letting it go its own way cause the monster was being threatened by people because people were afraid of it or nobody was supposed to know it existed or something would happen to it. I can’t quite remember. But I do remember feeling very sad and sorry for the creature. And the creature itself didn’t have hair it was just skin, caramel/ tan color skin, big eyes, wide mouth and I remember it have huge stubby fingers (because the giant would occasionally hold the boy). The giant looked so much like the baby from the dinosaur show like that’s almost EXACTLY how I remember it. And honestly completely forgot about this movie until I saw the baby from the dinosaur show because I had never seen that show and when I saw the baby the very vague memory came flooding in! I have searched EVERYWHERE and cannot find this movie. Did anyone else ever see it? Did I just imagine it? Am I blending the memory with other memories? Did this movie never exist..?

For the life of me I can’t remember this movie

OK, so I’m currently having a weird situation where I’m remembering a movie I watched as a kid, but for the life of me can’t remember who’s in it or what the name is only certain scenes and a somewhat plot. So it’s a movie about this teenage witch who falls in love with this pretty normal guy and she decides to introduce him to her family who are also witches, but her older sister is evil and is coming to kill him and there are two scenes that I think were near the end of the movie where it was the boyfriend‘s best friend on a raft with the older sister who is disguised as Marilyn Monroe floating in crocodile infested waters. Then another scene includes a Civil War reenactment where the boyfriend’s best friend tries to assassinate the boyfriend.

SyFy Movie w/ Killer Trees

I watched this flick back in I think 2013, maybe 2014. It was these two guys in the woods where these tree branches (they looked more like vines) grabbed up some dude and killed him. A few films I can root out for certain are The Scarecrow and The Ruins. If it helps Sharktopus Vs. Whalewolf trailers started up near this time.

What is this 90's Movie

My husband and I have been trying to find a 90's kids movie where the boy says, "according to my quackulations" instead of "calculations". We both remember hearing it in a movie growing up. Google searches come up with nothing.

We have tried Little Giants, Richie Rich, Blank Check, Sandlot, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids movies, Camp Nowhere, Man of the House, Heavyweights, and Home Alone, just to name a few.

Does anyone else remember this movie quote and know the movie it came from?

2000s Live action thriller action movie where the male main character is looking for a suspect that's on board on either a plane or bus at night for a stolen object

I remember watching this movie around the mid 2010s and found it very cool and kept me watching

I dont remember the whole plot, actors or begining and only the middle part of this movie

It was set at night where the main character is either inside a bus or a plane. He is looking around every passenger seated, finding a suspect who i think stole something and is trying to hide

The suspect frames an old man by putting the stolen object on the old man's pocket to where the main character is tricked and tries to make the old man say where he got the object. He grabs the old man and shakes him, which causes the old man to have a stroke and he begins to foam in his mouth. The main character calls for medical help and realizes he was tricked

He soon goes to the bathroom where he pulls out his sidekick phone and starts texting his partner. This was the part that really impressed me as a child cause the texts on the sidekick were animated and we see them on the side of the screen as the main character and his partner talk in texts and each text scrolls down

Suddently the main character is ambushed in the bathroom from the suspect's henchmen and this causes his sidekick phone to fall in the bathroom sink and get wet. The main character manages to fight off the henchmen and tries turning on his sidekick phone but it wont turn on

A woman who is waiting outside to use the bathroom shows him a trick that actually makes his sidekick phone turn back on and it allows the main character to be able to continue text his partner.

The next animated text conversations are shown water-damaged with cracks and sparks as they scroll down

Thats all I remember. Since the main character had one of those sidekick phones that had a built in keyboard that you slide up, it means that this movie had to be made between 2002-2010 before modern touchscreen phones

Ghost children in abandoned school or orphanage

A married woman goes back to an old closed school (or maybe orphanage) where her young brother disappeared in a mystery accident many years ago when she was also a child . She finds 'ghost children' still living there in fear. She works out what happened to her brother then stays to care for & to be a mother to these 'ghost children'. It's a spooky & tense film with a nice warm ending. Possibly french or Spanish

What Movies Are These Scenes From?

I have two different movie/ tv scenes stuck in my head and I can NOT for the life of me figure them out and all the people I have asked also don’t know where it’s from but they know what I’m talking about!

1- a child is doing a try out/routine/competition for whatever sport the kid does I’m not sure and the mom is sitting close enough to the judges and notices that a judge looks down as the kid does something good so she confronts the judge about it and asks “how are you supposed to judge if you aren’t looking, you just missed it” something along those lines!

Definitely not ITonya which was a good guess!

2- a woman (roughly in her 30s?) is at a restaurant with her mom and the waiter bring over I believe wine for the mom to try and when she tries it she doesn’t like it and either puts up her hand or her menu to ignore the server and says to her daughter something along the lines of “I don’t like it, take it away”

Martial arts movie

This is a martial arts movie, I watched maybe in 2015-2016 (but it most likely was released by late 2000s)

I remember certain scenes but these are the ones I am sure are in the movie

-The villain's mom (or atleast someone very important to him) was dying and the villain mercy kills her. Then he goes to the balcony, and does martial art moves out in the rain (most likely to vent his anger or something) -The villain is trying to hunt martial artists (or atleast those that can use martial arts and are pretty good at fighting) as revenge (probably for his mom) -A scene where the hero comes face to face with the villain in some sort of a fishing village. The villain runs away and they have this jet ski chase scene -Another fight scene I remember is the villain against another side character and both of them were using very long metal poles and the side character just pulls out a cutter

That's all I remember, it's a pretty long time ago lol

Looking for indie movie about 5 couples needed for a ritual

It's a random indie film where there are 4 couples and one girl gets invited as the 3rd(9th?) wheel and then some random guy shows up and they start talking. Then they find some book or something about a ritual that needs 5 couples to complete or to end it? Watched it like, 10 year ago so I'm sorry for lack of details.

Old woman in a wheelchair and her soul emerged from her body, strange movie

My friend remembers a storyline about an older, white, gray-haired woman in a wheelchair (?), who was known to be dying soon. The death scene was quite strange—her soul, looking exactly like her, emerged from her body and stood next to her. The setting was either a garden or a lawn. He watched the movie on TV no later than 1998, so I’m sure this isn’t just his imagination. Thank you in advance.

An animation I saw when I was a child.

Hi, I’m looking for an animated movie I saw a while ago and I can’t remember the title. Here are the specific details I remember:

The Portal: The main character is in a backyard or garden and enters a "wall of grass" (or a thick hedge) that acts as a portal to another world.

The Shrunken Head: I vividly remember a shrunken head attached to a door (or gate) that talked or acted as a guardian.

Pirate Scene: There is a ghost pirate ship with ghost/phantom pirates.

Visual Style: I have a strong impression that it was a LEGO movie (or something with a very similar brick-like animation style).

A cliché Disney high school movie with a great twist

It's a live-action movie, I think it's a Disney one because I remember seeing it on the Disney Channel.

The protagonist has a brother who accompanies and helps him with his high school problems. Near the end of the film, it is revealed that the brother is dead and is merely a figment of the protagonist's imagination.

The film begins as a normal high school adventure, but the twist changes the entire tone, until in the end the protagonist overcomes his grief and stops imagining his brother.

The viewer doesn't know that the brother is dead until near the end of the film when it is revealed

Indie short from perspective of just the bedroom top down

I want to say this was released between 2012 and 2016 give or take, it was a short film, I believe about the life of a girl, but all the scenes were just birdseye view of her bedroom., her coming and going, her talking to friends, fighting with parents, flirting with boyfriend etc.

I'm pretty confident this was a vimeo staff pick at some point.

It stood out, as while everything was happening in normal time, lighting would shift to indicate time passing, so you'd see sun rising, setting etc. It wasn't one shot, but the position of the camera never changed.

I'm looking for a movie where the character's name is Reina.

I remember watching this movie on TV between 2010 and 2014. There was a girl named Reina who lived with her brother in a wooden house in the countryside, as if it were near the sea. She would sometimes cycle to town and sometimes walk home along a long road through cornfields. One day, while returning home, she was sexually assaulted in the field by a group of young friends, but she didn't seem aware of it. She seemed a bit disabled. One day, when she returned home, her father, uncle, or mother, someone might have put a chair in the middle of the house and cut her hair. That's all I remember for now. I would appreciate any help.

a series with a wolf that constantly tries to eat the sheep

It a really old series i had on CD while i was a kid, maybe around 2013? I remember it having bad graphics and i think the backgrounds were really bland, like a simple blue blackground as the sky and a green floor. Im pretty sure the wolf was black and grey.

I specifically remeber this one episode where the wolf tried putting on wool to look like a sheep to pass a "metal" detector that detects wolves.

Thats all i got, i dont really know if its the right subreddit to post this but yea.
