I know the schedule dropped a while ago but I'm just now really looking at it. Texas state joins next month and that still feels weird to say out loud the Bobcats have been in the sun belt forever and now they're playing in pullman and corvallis, also that flex week at the end of the season where the matchups might change based on playoff stakes is gonna be confusing to explain to casual fans. Oregon state and Washington state holding it down after everyone else left is something to appreciate though. They could have just given up and went to the mountain west but they kept the pac name alive.

remember when Brantford was up three games to one and everyone thought it was over. Barrie just said nah, two straight overtime wins to force game seven and then they went into Brantford and just completely controlled the game from start to finish. Aitcheson got the game winner early and the colts never looked back. Brantford had home ice and everything and just didn't show up. that's gotta sting for their fans. Colts move on to face Kitchener in the final starting wednesday at the aud. should be a great series.

just watched the highlights from the Los Angeles regional final and. Ucla thought they won like actually started celebrating. The fifth set was tight and Ucla had match point. Then the officials huddled and reversed a touch call. uc irvine got new life and then they just ran with it. A freshman, Andreas Brinck had a couple huge kills to finish it off. Ucla players just standing there in shock. That's the kind of ending you only see in movies. Irvine plays ball state on saturday for a shot at the title,, man thats wild.

Ive been scrolling through the transfer news and I can't keep up. Feels like every team is getting gutted or reloading with no in between. Butler lost bizjack to west virginia and now their whole roster looks different. Georgetown basically has a whole new team coming in after like eight guys left even Uconn and St Johns are making moves. Uconn snagged Najai Hines from Seton hall which feels like a crime within the conference. St Johns added Donnie Freeman from Syracuse which is a solid pickup I don't know how coaches are supposed to build anything lasting when guys leave after one season. Big East is just gonna be a revolving door every April from now on.

Last weekend I took a friend skating for the first time and forgot how awful rental skates are. She couldn't even make it through one lap without sitting down, ankles flopping everywhere no support at all, blades felt like they hadn't been sharpened since the 90s. I felt bad because I kept saying skating is fun but she was just suffering. She asked if my skates felt different and I said yeah like a completely different sport. Anyway, we ended up leaving early because her feet were bleeding. Thanks rental counter for ruining another potential skater.

I just finished watching the highlights from last night and I still don't know what I watched. Avs and wild just trading goals back and forth like neither team wanted to play defense. Makar got crushed by foligno early and went straight down the tunnel, thought he was done for sure, then he comes back later and scores twice like nothing happened. Guy is just built different. Saw the Avs go up early then fall behind then just explode in the third. Makar said after the game it was a weird one and probably a one-off. Hope he's right because my heart can't take a whole series of this.

I just saw this somewhere and had to do a double take. Thought bro was done after Mania, like retired for real this time. Now he's listed for backlash next Saturday in Tampa. Danhausen needs a partner for his match against Miz and Wilson and people already putting two and two together. Cena did that whole bit with Danhausen at Mania so it wouldn't be crazy. Either way, I'm just hype to see him again so soon, thought we'd be waiting until Summer slam or something.

Everyone says that spares are the key to a good average but nobody agrees on how to actually line them up. Some people use the arrows, others use the dots near the foul line. Some look at the reflection on the lane while others just trust their feet and throw. For a ten pin do you move left a certain number of boards or do you just throw straight up the right side, also does the oil pattern affect spare shooting or is that only for strikes. Feels like something that should be simple but everyone has a different system and I don't know which one to trust,

Hi guys , I drove an hour to a lake that looked glass calm on the forecast got there and it was fine for the first twenty minutes then out of nowhere the wind picked up like someone opened a door. Suddenly I'm paddling as hard as I can and barely moving forward. Waves coming over the bow. Canoe yawing around every time I stop to breath I tried hugging the shore but the wind kept pushing me back out ended up landing on the opposite side of the lake from my car and had to walk back along the road carrying all my gear. Felt like the lake was personally mad at me.

I just saw someone post about Oregon winning the series against Ucla. went and checked the scores game one was 8-2 then game two was 13-11 in six innings cause of the run rule. Oregon scored four in the seventh to seal it, Ucla hit five homers in that one game and still lost somehow. Amari Harper and Stefini Ma'ake were just on fire. Anyway, ducks win the series with a game left tomorrow not bad for a team people thought would take a step back this year.

hey guys, just started rowing a few months ago, still very bad at it. Coach keeps giving me all these cues and drills to fix my form, some of them help but some of them make me think about so many things at once that I forget how to move my arms. Someone told me to keep my shoulders relaxed and my lats engaged and my core tight and my knees down and my back straight and then just row, I ended up just freezing at the catch like a statue. Anyway, anyone have a piece of advice or a drill that a coach gave you early on that just completely broke your brain instead of helping.

I have been seeing more people with those little rubber things on their strings , you know the ones with little circles or shapes wedged in between the cross strings. Some guys swear by them, say it changes the feel and sound off the racquet, other guys say it's purely cosmetic and does nothing except make your racquet look like a kids toy. I've never used one honestly never even thought about it until I saw someone with like four of them on the same racquet. looked funny but now I'm curious if I'm missing out on something. Anyone actually noticed a difference with or without

We had a dude show up last week who kept blowing his own whistle every time he thought there was an offside or a hand pass, not loud enough for the real ref to hear but loud enough to confuse everyone on the ice. Guys are stopping mid shift looking around like what's happening. The actual ref told him twice to cut it out and he just kept doing it then he got mad because nobody was listening to his calls. My brother you are not the referee , you paid the same fifteen bucks as the rest of us, nobody asked you to officiate, just play the game and shut up. anyone else run into this or is my rink just special.

I have been playing futsal for about a year now nothing serious, my first touch is fine when i'm just practicing or playing pickup with my buddies but in games when someone's closing me down fast i just panic, ball bounces off my foot three meters away or i trap it right into the defender's feet. Coach says keep my knees bent and stay low but my brain shuts off as soon as i hear footsteps, anyone have a drill or a mental trick that actually helped them stay calm and control the ball when someone's in their face.

I just saw the results from yesterday Pisa lost to Lecce and that's it for them, first season back in Serie A and they're already heading down only 18 points from 35 matches which is rough. Verona got dragged down with them too because Lecce won. Lecce moving four points clear with that result, so two teams officially relegated on the same night. I kinda feel bad for Pisa fans they had that bright start to the season, didn't last long. Verona has been down there all year honestly so not a huge shock but still Serie B is gonna have some interesting names next season, anyway now we watch to see who joins them. Cremonese is still in trouble and Lecce not safe yet either ...crazy how fast it happens at the end of the season.

okay guys ,Portugal and Croatia both won their finals at some global tour thing in Zagreb. Portugal's women won in a shootout against Poland which sounds intense. First set was like 16-6 which is a blowout then Poland actually came back and forced a shootout but Portugal pulled through,, Croatia's men won too and they beat Portugal in their final. So Portugal got one win and one loss i guess. i really follow beach handball closely but this seems pretty cool. anyone actually watch these or knows about it,, also why weren't Hungary or Netherlands there seems weird.

i caught the express lane show from last night Gringo loco and Vengador vs Alex Divine and Chris Slade nothing crazy but solid tag match. Gringo is just smooth in there no matter who he's with vengador looked good too, heavenly assassins played their roles well not a match of the year contender or anything but a nice little pallet cleanser after all the collective chaos a couple weeks ago made me remember why i like indie shows in smaller rooms like this anyone else catch this one or ?

I been thinking about this lately ,i do bjj mostly but our gym has separate wrestling and judo classes never really tried combining them seems like most people just pick one and stick with it wrestling guys say judo is too gi dependent and slow, judo guys say wrestling is just spamming shots and muscling through stuff but i've rolled with a few people who clearly had both and something about their standup just felt different smoother transitions, better grip fighting, weird trips i don't even recognize makes me wonder if i'm missing out by not trying both at the same time anyone here actually train wrestling and judo together consistently,, like same week same season did it help your overall game or was it just too much to remember also wondering how you deal with the stance difference,,wrestling wants you low and crouched. judo wants you more upright for throws. feels like my brain would break trying to switch between them.

Saw the news out of the Philippines today,Two Israeli tourists got beaten badly in General Luna, right near Cloud 9. Locals on motorcycles allegedly punched them in the face. Severe facial injuries. And most of the comments on the local Facebook page were celebrating it. The reason given was they were pissing in the middle of the road but a lot of people are saying it's straight up antisemitism. Siargao is supposed to be paradise and i've recommended it to friends. Now I'm not so sure anyone been recently or has the vibe actually shifted?

Tried squash back in October at a random rec center just to kill time. Now I'm playing three times a week and watching pro matches on YouTube during lunch. Watching Elias and Asal move is like a different sport compared to what I'm doing out there. Upgraded from a cheap racquet to something lighter last month and my wrist stopped hurting immediately. Anyone have favorite drills for someone stuck in that beginner-intermediate zone? Also looking for good courts in the Chicago area if anyone knows a spot. Anyway yeah. Squash is good.
