It's designed for 16"-apart vertical studs, but the studs over my fireplace are horizontal. They are about 11 3/4" apart (center to center) and I assume they are 2x4s sitting wide-side out as the stud finder shows about 3 5/8" height. So I assume the holes are 16" apart horizontally ("W" for width on my image), but does anyone know how far apart the holes are vertically ("H" for height) ? The overall plate is 18.1" by 11.7" so I'm guessing it's 9.6" if the mounting holes are the same distance h/w from the corners (hard to tell from the images) which MIGHT be enough for me, but if anyone has access to the plate to give me an exact measurement, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.

My dashcam has its own "GPS" thing on the windshield, doesn't it know where it is without my phone? Why should it need MY location to just download a video it's already recorded?

I just got my induction cooktop installed and I cannot get the "power flex zone" (join two "single" zones together) to work.  I've shut off the breaker for long periods of time, went through the settings to make sure it was not in demo mode, and reset to factory settings. I've got a large enough pot, induction compatible, that the cooktop recognizes and puts itself into the "power flex zone" mode when the pot is placed across the two individual zones. But when I select any power level, which it accepts, the cooktop just keeps clicking every 3-4 seconds, and then eventually rejects my selection without making any of the "vibration"/heating sounds.  [After about 15 seconds, the selected power number starts flashing, and then the cooktop shuts off after about another 15 seconds]  All six single zones work, but none of the three combined "power flex" zones work. I read all the instructions/troubleshooting but nothing addressed this specific situation. Has this happened to anyone else and how was it remedied? I called the appliance store and they're researching it but wondering in the meantime if there's one weird trick to unlock this feature. [I hope it's not a 'subscription' feature!] I started to try the app to see if it would tell me anything but it wanted my location on so I didn't play any further.
