What is this? It looks like a steel bowling pin. It's about 16 inches in length, weighs about 20lbs and was unearthed in south west Ohio.
Any idea what this "suggestive" looking thing is?
Found it at my local Goodwill, it looks like some gardening tool. I'm like 90% sure it has something to do with soil. Anybody know?
Is anything worth buying?
At an airport and saw something in stock... but what is the deal with these prices?!?!?
Record while opening shipped singles?
I've been lurking enough here, and have a pretty good eye from playing and collecting for a long time, but the posts on this sub have made me realize something:
From now on, when I receive the package from ordering singles (from anywhere/anyone), I will be recording the whole thing, uncut, from opening the package to scanning the card with a loop/ zoom. It seems like the safest way to prove you're not one of the scammers trying to send back fake product, and can help prove it came to you that way. You can delete each video after confirmation, so it's not going to clog up your storage.
Is anyone else doing this, or have other methods of verification and reducing hassle?
Saw this recently, and reached out to the OP to thank them for their service. Great job eliminating one.
Back when Revised came out, I was playing a lot, and was able to win a tournament where the reward was Richard Garfield and Peter Adkinson coming to my local shop and playing with us all for a whole day (and bringing merch!). I was playing a Rukh Egg and Serra Angel deck, and managed to defeat both of them with the same exact card. They thought it was funny and signed it (and a second one when the literal exact same card beat Peter). These may not be my most valuable cards by money... but they're definitely up there in my prized possessions.
What are your most prized cards that aren't chase card/god-tier valuable?
Ravenna neighborhood, no one was badly injured thankfully. Just a weird situation.
Cell phone tower crew docking... high stakes, high stress, high.... five?
Hannah Barron has quite a few great videos of being a classic southern girl.
