The text looks very fake to me

*******Contacted the store to see if he went back to get it. He went back and said it was fake and that the store took it off the shelf******

I went to a local card store and showed the clerk this image , he went nuts . Mentioning a black double line around the border , the placement of the name and a few other details. Since I am leaving Kentucky tomorrow before the store opens, I told him exactly where it was and to check for himself and if it were real and that I hope the luck comes full circle for myself. He was ecstatic.

The shop owner came over and I told him what was happening and we chatted for a bit, he gave me a strixhaven collector pack for free and I pulled a Force of Will Japanese borderless!

Honestly wild day, I will call back tomorrow night and see if it was real and update the post here.

(I had my commander deck with me and took a land out of a sleeve to sleeve this one)

This is the biggest purchase I've ever made when it comes to cards and I have a bad feeling about the card. Idk if I'm making myself second guess it because of the cost or what but please let me know your opinions. Also these were taken with my iPhone and zoomed in on idk if that messes with the tests so please leave suggestions on how to take a better photo if I need to.

Was at magicon Vegas yesterday day and was drinking a little too much and impulsively bought both of these. Just looking for a little help to see if they are real. Thank you!!!!

Bought this Sol Ring ( MPS ) off of TCGplayer, is it fake?
If so, what should I do in this situation?

Bought for a very good price in Australia. Is it normal for there to also be printed on the bottom left of the card “winner” and where it was won?! Would really ruin my day to find it’s fake.

I went to my local collectibles store over the weekend to sell all the Bloomburrow Raised Foils, 11 in total, I had collected. They purchased all, but two and informed me that these two are believed to be fake. Both have been purchased over a year ago, one on TCG from a store that has been on TCG for 13 years & the other Shopify. I did reach out to the store to make them aware regarding Ms. Bumbleflower, but they claim it’s real and I should go to another local store to have them confirm that rather than going to a collectibles store. Unfortunately that is the only store in my area without having to travel.

I was wondering if someone could confirm if they are real or fake. I do apologize if the pictures provided are no good—I wasn’t too sure how close or distant I should have been when taking a picture of the green dots & Ts. Cheers.

Edit: I should have better clarified, both cards came from separate stores, but were purchased roughly the same timeframe. Ms. Bumbleflower was purchased on TCGplayer & Baylen, the Haymaker was purchased on Shopify, but unfortunately I am having trouble finding out what was the shop I specifically purchased Baylen from. That’s my bad.

So me and my buddy opened a magic shop in our hometown.

One day a childhood friend of us comes by with two black lotus in NM condition.

I know the dude, good lad, not the smartest cookie in the jar.

He says he had them since he was 6 (circa 02).

He clearly doesn't know how much they're worth, they're pristine look and feel real, today I preformed the light test as you can see compared to a card from secrets of Strixhaven. I'm pretty sure it's fake, however my phone light does shine through a bit and I can see the text box (this is not visible in the video). I just want to make sure they are fake, because if they are, I'm going to destroy them, because they're not a proxy, it's full on counterfeit, enough to fool some people and I don't want that out there.

Can someone help?

I don't currently have access to a jewelers magnifying glass or other unlimited cards for comparison.

Called the dude up and told him they might be fake, he agreed to destroy them if that's the case.

Theres an indentation under "the gathering" which I've heard could be from a roller during manufacturing.

I found these at Goodwill today. There’s a bunch of them. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if they’re real or not. (they are all empty.) thanks!

Bought a Ozai and Super shredder from a seller on TCGPlayer. When I received them, I used my loupe to inspect and found that the shredder looks to be fake. I messaged the seller on TCG, and they told me that they rip all their cards that they sell. He shared me their video of opening that card and uploaded to YouTube 5 hours earlier and told me to watch it.

What should I do? I told them about it but I don’t want others to have to deal with a possible fake. What do yall think from the pics?

Got this Sephiroth March 10th and the paintbrush looks a little weird and the black borders around the words don’t seem as solid as they should be. Hopefully they can do something for me if it’s fake

I used to play this card a lot back in the day with my sliver deck. I don’t remember where I got it so i was wondering if it was even real and in good enough condition for someone to want. Found it when looking through an old box I had, mostly 4th edition and these strongholds. Sorry was having a hard time getting a good pic.

Ive been looking for a rhystic study for a while and purchased one off eBay which was fake.

Ended up finding another seller with 100% positive feedback but it didn’t look like they regularly sell cards.

To me, this one looks good.

T and H - ok

What can I look at on the front to make sure it’s not re-backed?

Mana symbol looks good to me and the black border appears crisp.

Text appears good too.

No holograms on this card.
