Would love to hear your experience.

Im 30F, have hashimotos and PCOs. So I’m mostly looking at a low dose reta (0.25-0.5/week) to lower inflammation, control my cravings, food noise, and to lose 10 pounds, which is weight I gained purely from hormonal havoc/metabolism disruption from my autoimmune condition.

Yes, I know I should also look at tirz, but I’d like to protect my muscle mass as I lift a ton and am very active.

Curious if anyone is in the similar situation and what the experience has been for you, as well as if you’ve ran any labs

Guys, please for the love of god realize everything in life has trade offs. If you just want cheapest and fastest way to achieve a physical result, you’re in a very dangerous and gullible position, in an industry that demands for you to be vigilant for your own safety and sanity.

This is an unregulated market on either side. DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE

Your local resellers = high cost, low risk
Buying direct from china = low cost, higher risk

The only way for you to lower that risk is to do your own testing to verify purity and quality. Anyone telling you they are source factory is LYING. Anyone telling you they are a “plug” to the factory is lying. Selling peptides in china is not permitted. The actual factories have a pharmaceutical or cosmetic manufacturing background and are making this under the table, have to stay INVISIBLE. They stick to a tight circle of trusted b2b partners who move serious volume. Who distributor to resellers, to resellers, to you. Each time it passes hands is another markup. None of those close to the actual source are in your DMs on Reddit, lol.

There’s also risk in logistics, shipping, etc. it’s all a part of the equation.

Your domestic resellers are easily marking up 4-5x their cost. Some Chinese resellers are also getting up to 3x, based on the price sheets I’ve seen.

Why should you listen to me? You shouldn’t. You should ALWAYS do your own research in this industry. I’m only sharing what I’ve learned from living in China and watchinf this all unfold.

Through prioritizing your own comfort level, interacting with the community, and bit of patience, you’ll eventually learn how this all works, and you will stop being at the mercy of whoever charges the most. Real power comes from knowledge.

To health!

Just did budgeting on how much being on reta is gonna cost me, I'm currently unemployed and it's looking rough. Not only for the actual pep but also all of the supplies, noodles, etc.

On the bright side, I'm in the very serendipitous position to be in china visiting family for a while .... so sourcing my own is looking more and more realistic. Except I would 100% get 3rd party testing done. How much are ya'll paying/month, and is it really sustainable?

Looking to connect with any founders building in tech/AI/ecomm. Moved here around a year ago, and it can definitely get lonely as an expat. Would be great to build a community/new connections and shoot the sh*t!
