How to handle a non native bird

Hey!! So my friend found a guinea fowl in a public park in the Atlanta area… those obviously aren’t native to Georgia. It’s not near a zoo/ wildlife sanctuary. She’s made lost pet postings, and went around the houses in the neighborhood in the area. Some people said the bird was there for a few days. We’re trying to find a rehab or sanctuary to take it. We’re having a hard time with that because it’s a non native bird, or most of the places were closed. Neither of us have the space to keep the bird safely overnight. We’re going to try and pick it up and take it somewhere soon. Does anyone have any leads on where we could take it?

Wings

How can you preserve a large birds wings? I found a Canadian goose who unfortunately was hit by a car and died because of it. I wanted to mount the wings and I don’t do taxidermy professionally, and I don’t have the money to go to a pro

Mummified possum

Hey hey! A few weeks ago I found a mummified possum on the side of a highway. I really really want the skull because it’s in really good condition. I had it soaking in really soapy water for about… two weeks? Pulled it out today to check on it/ and change the water. The skin and muscles got some really good hydration. The texture is kinda… gummy? I can’t really pull it off the bones. Any suggestions on how to help? I ended up just putting in fresh soapy water in tonight. I may just end up buying and exhuming in a few months
