I have recently started selling my taxidermy, and tbh pricing is a pain in the ass... but I have just finished this little guy, and would €400 be a good price for him? he will get some decor (flowers) and maybe an pearl harness

This deer and one other hung in my aunt and uncle’s house my entire childhood, the first 2 bucks taken on their property in Texas sometime in the 50’s best as anyone can recall. I remember looking at them and dreaming of the days I could go get my own. Fast forward 30 years, aunt and uncle have since passed and the house was abandoned. I was able to retrieve the mounts, and harvested a buck on the same ranch in 2024 from which I was able to utilize the cape to remount this buck. Brought back to life after 70ish years. Pic of the original mount is included. One more (skull cap and antlers on the mantle) to go!
i have just dug up my beloved pet rat after nearly a year, i've got all the bones bar the skull. the skull is still covered in fur so im just wondering how ill be able to remove it. i have no experience in this but would love to keep her as something to remember her by
i'm from the uk and don't think i can get hydrogen peroxide
thankyou!!

What would you do?! How to display?
When I got this one, I envisioned a beautiful euromount... While drying out at my friend's house, his dog chews on it 🤦🏼. So my friend cuts the nose off to clean it up before shipping it to me...
Would love to get this on the wall, but not sure exactly how I should display it. Your ideas and suggestions are appreciated.
Also, I'm not a taxidermist (obviously!), so something on the easier side would be ideal...ty

I just got my first big taxidermy piece (I only have one other small one) and I actually dont know how to maintain it. Am i supposed to like do anything with it like clean it or something? Any advice helps ive never owned a taxidermy piece like this

After the first couple successful beltfish skulls I found this monster at the market and decided to save more parts. The gills came out in very good condition with one exception: the gill filaments curled up. It looks more like a scraggly beard than a nice set of gills.
Wha can I do to straighten them out? The only idea I have now is rehydrate, clip a piece of stiff nonstick plastic behind each, and comb them out with watered down PVA glue until dry.
Last photo is the rest of the noggin mid-reassembly. I do believe that I will have success articulating it so that it can move. Maybe not full range but very close. All that’s left is the join between the two mandibles, which is a tricky sliding joint
About 5 gallons of water, 5 pounds salt, 1 pound citric acid. Day number 2.

so i found a opossum skull. i got the flesh off n all but the maxilla on both sides fell off, nasal bone, and the nasil ridge bones on both sides all fell off,, i know how to get the bigger bones in easily but how do i get the nasal bones in with glue?? it always takes me quite a while to get it in the correct position? i put the skull back together but it falls apart VERY easily rn and i could use some advice, i really want this skull to stay intact because its such a pretty skull
im gonna glue cheek bones on later don't mind that

For some info, my grandpa caught this 9 pound striped bass in 1990, in Norfork Lake Arkansas , and mounted it. Ever since then it was sitting in my grandma‘s living room without her doing anything to it just barely barely barely touched it with a dusting cloth. Then my grandma decided that she didn’t want it anymore so she gave it to my uncle. He didn’t put it up or anything, and didn’t take care of it. It’s sat in his garage (Iowa weather) so it went through humid, hot cold dry. I finally picked it up and it’s been sitting in my closet for about two years. I just now got it on the wall and I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas how to preserve it/keep it as it is. I would really love to keep it in my family.
My friend lives about an hour away on a farm. One of her mama goats gave birth to a "pink, hairless," very premature baby. She isn't coming back this way until Wednesday.
Do I:
ask her to freeze it (damaging the tissues?)
ask her to put it in the fridge (unsure how fast fetal tissue decomposes)
drive up there tonight and get it (I could do this but I had not budgeted a trip like that into this tank of gas)
I also only have 70% isopropyl handy as I am a slacker who doesn't usually get these kinds of opportunities.
i have a opossum skull and i would like someone's personal experience from glues for skulls! especially one on the more fragile side like the opossum skull :D any comment helps!
