As much as I love new adaptations, I can see how others would get tired of them. We do have two perfect adaptations already.
Classic/historical romance books preferably. Kind of the same themes/genre as P&P. And if you wanna have some fun with it, what’s your fancast?
22f, for anyone wondering! Once again, very tmi discussion, any creeps will be blocked and you should be on a watchlist! (Meaning creeps asking about just how young i was!)
But, this has always been something I’ve been kind of embarrassed about. I’ve never really talked to anyone about it because I think it’s odd myself, and I don’t even know how I’d begin to explain it. As I’m writing it now, I don’t know how to.
I discovered masturbation at an incredibly young age. Like really young, I won’t disclose how young because as mentioned above, creeps! But it kind of affected the way I’ve been able to orgasm all my life. I have to lay on my stomach as im doing the deed, and the pressure of my bodyweight helps?? I’m also not touching my clit directly but slightly above it. And i cant orgasm any way other than that now. And sometimes it makes me feel broken, because it’s so weird. Because nobody I know orgasms like that, and every time I’m with a partner, i fake it because I don’t know how to explain the way I like it and i know that it would take them too long to be able to get me close enough. And it’s not that the “traditional” way doesnt feel good, it does, but it can’t make me finish. And it’s not just them, I can’t do it either. Even if I use a vibrator, I can’t ever cum. At least if I am capable, I never do it long enough. I’m not sure if I’ve fucked up some nerves down there after years of doing it this way, or if my clit’s just too sensitive and i stop just beforehand.
And obviously, my preferred place of questioning would not be reddit, but idek who to talk to about it.
Is this at all relatable for someone out there or am i just an oddity?
Sorry, i know its tmi, tried my best to not make it sound like a porn shitpost.
Edit: i do notice im getting some downvotes, and if i offended anyone or anything like that, that was not my intention.

Hi guys, I’m beginning to get a little frustrated. My package was shipped out pretty quickly and I was excited, except a few days ago I realized that the tracking number hadn’t updated since the 20th of April. I disputed it and asked for a refund, maybe 8 days after the shipment, and the buyer rejected it. But she said she had to raise her own dispute with usps. So I decided to be a little more patient and waited two more days before asking her about any updates, and she didn’t answer thought it indicated she’d been active today. So I checked her reviews and saw that this has happened twice before with this seller, although it was two years ago. I raised another dispute, and reached out again, this time a little bit firmer than I’d normally be comfortable with but honestly everything’s expensive right now, I do not want to waste $40 on a shirt that isn’t coming. Depop told me that the seller agreed to reach out to me, just moments after I texted her. And perhaps she is busy, but I feel like a simple message would be fine, assuming that she had to do the same about depop contacting her. I’m not a seller, so I’m not sure how that process works, but I’m worried that I won’t get the shirt or the refund. The shirt is also for a concert that is nearly here. :(
Very frustrating, and I’m not sure what to do here if the seller continues to be able to reject and blow off my disputes.
(I found the picture on Pinterest, but the name of the model is Filah Ranamane for anyone curious!)
This is a brief post, but I am working on a fantasy novel and my main character is a darkskin woman with locs. I picture her to look similar to the model above. I believe a popular opinion when writing POC characters is to do research and so I thought I'd get some answers on a couple questions I have. And of course, if anyone else has anything to mention or add, I'm more than happy to hear it!
1.) How would locs be taken care of? Especially in a fantasy world that wouldn't have the kind of products that are available in today's world.
1.5.) Any other information I should know when writing about locs?
2.) I'd like to believe that my character avoids any tropes, but is there anything I should be mindful about when writing?
3.) And as I said above, any thing else y'all would like to add! Thanks so much, this is highly appreciated.
