So I, IP, failed a mental health screening from my surrogacy agency. They said that I could not proceed with the surrogacy. Now they're sending me a termination of contract letter and won't contact me when I try to contact them. I feel really deceived. I didn't even realize you could fail the mental health screening so bad to get kicked out? I didn’t even realize I was being screened I just thought I was talking to someone. But there's been no contact since then and I assume I don't get my money back? I'm sure in the fine print this is all totally legal but something seems odd about this, like they wouldn't let me redeem myself by going to therapy or something. Also how many completely insane people have kids but I digress. Just wondering if anyone has been in this very specific scenario of failing the mental health screening and what I can do in this weird situation. I feel lost.

I've been doing comedy for a year plus a few months with some additional comedy background (sketch, improv) so I figured it was okay experience wise to post some clips that aren't necessarily my best but they're clips that aren't in my set anymore. Anyway I posted a few clips here and on tiktok and they did awful, zero to a few upvotes. I didn't post on instagram because my friends are on there and that's attached to my real name. But I'm super discouraged. I've worked really hard which I realize is irrelevant but I get booked pretty regularly. Also probably irrelevant. Te bits that I posted aren't my best but they did well in person and got decent laughter from multiple crowds. I'm really meticulous about listening to my sets afterwards and judging the level of laughter and being honest if a bit sucks or whatever even if I like the bit. I'm just wondering why there could be such a big discrepancy and I feel really frustrated and I don't know how to improve social media clips when compared with the in person set, like if there's some formula that I'm missing (be funnier obviously).

I'm super far left libtard whatever so I understand being sensitive but I feel like people are bothered by everything on threads? I like to post humor content and I'm not saying I'm amazing at but I do okay sometimes. Anyway people seem to get horribly offended by what I think is blatant sarcasm. I've seen this on other people's posts too. Like what is blatant sarcasm/parody goes right over people's heads and they jump on being defensive and they're really mean? Are people on threads just obtuse? Or offended by everything? Again maybe I'm just a terrible writer but I've seen this on famous comedian's threads as well.
