Image 1 — KIRILL VS. ADRIAN: THE DIFFERENCE
Image 2 — KIRILL VS. ADRIAN: THE DIFFERENCE

KIRILL VS. ADRIAN: THE DIFFERENCE

So,

The 2 most important men of the New York Bratva,

KIRILL MOROZOV: Pakhan (The Leader)

&

ADRIAN VOLKOV: Obshchak (The Treasurer)

What makes these two men different from each other and perfect for their current position?

How are their personality, nature and beliefs in life different?

Comparisons can be made between these factors which shaped them into who they are today:

  1. Childhood

  2. Parents

  3. Family dynamics

  4. Life partner

  5. Kids

MY PERSONAL OPINION:

I believe the circumstances in one's life play a major role in shaping a person's character, however, each one of us is his own person that nothing can change.

Both of these Bratva men and their Trilogies are one of Rina Kent's best and my personal favourites, but, here is why I choose Kirill over Adrian.

KIRILL:

Kirill was the first legitimate son but rape child of Roman Morozov and Yulia Morozov. Both of his parents came from high ranking Russian families in the Bratva but could never become good humans or parents to him.

Yulia hated him and did not give a fuck if he was alive or not and after Konstantin, his younger half brother's birth, Yulia's entire love and care went towards him. Roman just saw Kirill as the Morozov heir and an extension of himself since Konstantin was not his own son, which was a fact that he already came to know. Even as an adult, he was slapped and spewed venom upon by Yulia and his men, his only comrades, were killed by his father so he would come back to him, even after the shit he did to him.

He loved both of his younger siblings and protected them from the physical, mental and psychological trauma their parents brought upon them in the form of tests which included being left stranded, beaten up, electrocuted and separated from each other in front of their eyes.

Now, Sasha, Kirill's other half, also belonged to Russian royalty, but, was forced to live as a man in the military after her whole family was brutally killed and taken away from her life. But, she like Kirill, did not break and lived to become the woman she is.

Vaughn, their only son, had the best childhood which Kirill and Sasha never had themselves and made sure that their own child had one. His conception was not FORCED by Kirill, PERIOD. As done by the Rina Kent MMCs repeatedly, by swapping the FMCs birth control, emotionally forcing her or justifying that it is something that it is meant to happen to them, sooner or later.

Although Kirill wanted Sasha to stay with him after she threatened him with a divorce and figured out that the best plan to do it was by having a baby together, he never acted upon it and decided against it as it would make Sasha hate her. When Sasha was shot and he got to know about the baby, he did not care about it and said that he doesn't want her to live with him just because of the baby.

Both of these strong people fixed each other's past and made a future for them by becoming an actual TEAM. Kirill and Sasha though having an 8 year old age gap between them, are one of the very few Rina Kent couples who are actually respected equals and partners in their relationship and hold the same amount of power on each one of them.

His life's consequences or not, he had always wanted to have all the fucking power to himself.

"I will take over the world, Sasha. And you'll be right by my side."

He is the motherfuckers of all motherfuckers and, yes, a master manipulator.

He killed his own father on his deathbed by removing his oxygen mask and watched as the life in his eyes disappeared before going out and announcing that he will be taking over now. He kidnapped his own mother and then pretended to save her and also reached the Bratva meeting in time, proving how he is both, a better son and leader than Konstantin. He arranged his fake engagement with Kristina, (Something I think could have been changed, which he understood and apologised to Sasha after she told him her feelings), then he made Kristina herself leave the altar in front of the whole Bratva and act as the stranded groom, catch her and Konstantin together and reveal their truth to the others, all while also making sure they both are still married to each other and he is made the pakhan as per the deal and voting!

Now, did him becoming the Pakhan put his family as second in his life?

Hell, no!

In fact, I have always wondered why Adrian locked Lia and shielded Annika from the world but Kirill always let Sasha and Vaughn be their own person and still protected them. The number of times Lia and Annika have been in a problem either because of Adrian's controlling behaviour directly or indirectly, or by external threats is actually so much more than Kirill's family! When Sasha was kidnapped and attempted to be raped by the Albanians, Kirill himself went after every single person involved in it, putting his position and himself in jeopardy and was ready to leave being the Pakhan, if his beautiful wife said so. Vaughn even specified in HTV, how when Kirill and he went horseback riding, there was a shootout, which Viktor and Kirill's men took care of and they continued to have their father-son bonding, after which Kirill again personally looked into it and killed the rest of the men who dared to attack them.

So, tell me your views!

P.S.: Can we please talk about how hot both the men look in their book covers and are perfect for their character?

HEADCANONS: BUT SIDE CHARACTERS!

Hi people!❤️

So, as the sub is going crazy for our beloved😩 (or not so beloved🤧) main characters headcanons,

I think it's fair enough to shower some love on our FAVOURITE SIDE CHARACTERS in all the Rina Kent Books till yet✋🏻

Mine would be:

  1. GOD OF WAR: Leo or should I say Leonardo Henderson and Sam, or the members of the Antisocial Club, being Eli's assistants, end up together by Ava matchmaking them and Eli unable to believe his eyes😭

  2. GOD OF FURY: The little girl who called Bran a prince and told that she would wait for him to marry her in the future and got our Niko all offended, ends up being Leigh's classmate in her school. Niko is so not liking it whereas Bran is having the time of his life.😂😭

  3. GOD OF WRATH: Okay, now Ilya my man who I desperately wanted to be a main character turns out to be a rival mafia family's bastard heir who became Jeremy's personal guard to be in the inner Bratva circle, close to Kirill, Vaughn, Adrian and Jeremy. He comes on their good side by his sacrifices and they help him win his position back by killing the current heir and dealing with Ilya directly in the future. Ilya falls in love with Maya in the process and sees through her. They end up getting married like everyone else and move to Ilya's territory where Maya and him become boy parents and Maya is loved and protected by all the men in her life🤧❤️

  4. MONSTER TRILOGY: Viktor and Karina, another characters who deserved to have a book. Their marriage is personally organised by Sasha and she also becomes Karina's bridesmaid. Karina throws a tantrum on the smallest details and gets on Viktor's nerves while Kirill is now happy having Viktor by his side to deal with Kara's outbursts😭😂

C'mon share yours!❤️

NEST 2026

Hello seniors,

I am 18F PCB GENERAL and will be appearing for NEST 2026 as my first attempt, I really want to get into NISER Bhubaneswar/UM DAE CEBS Mumbai in a BS-MS course for Biology this year and need guidance for the last 1 month left for the exam.

I appeared for NEET this year and have done the NCERT and NEET PYQs for all 3, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and will not be attempting Mathematics in my exam.

I have also downloaded the PYQs of the last 5 years of NEST exam and will be doing them this month.

Please tell about the level and difficulty as compared to other entrance exams, question pattern, question type, cutoff, questions I should attempt etc. for my selection and if possible, subjectwise.

I don't know if there is any separate platform for attempting it's mock tests or any other books that I should practice apart from NCERT, NEET and NEST PYQs itself, apart from SciAstra, which I don't know if it is relevant or not, or any youtube channel's series or playlist that I should use to revise my syllabus in these last 30 days.

I really want to crack the exam and need help from you all who have already cleared it and are pursuing their desired courses in the institutions!

I would also appreciate if you guys do something for the NEST aspirants in this sub, as right now we all are in need of your experiences the most!

Looking forward for your help!

So, I was really curious about this thing since a long time and being an avid female reader and wanting to write in future myself I thought to post about it✋🏻

Mostly, it is seen that the genre of dark romance or romance in general has a higher number of female readers than the male readers.

I want to ask the male readers of this sub, who read Rina Kent books or other similar books, a few questions:

  1. What made you like and start reading these books and what do you think about the debate of fictional men vs real life men?

  2. Why do you think women like fictional men over real life men?

  3. Why do you think these books are not popular among men?

  4. How do the other men who do not read them react to you?

  5. What is one thing you like the most about these books and one thing that you dislike and want to change?

Waiting for your answers;)

Sooo,

Eli and Ava are my personal favourite couple in Legacy of Gods with Niko And Bran coming second.

I re-read God of War and as we all know that the book starts with them being married and 2 years already being passed since God of Fury i.e. the last book with everyone moving ahead in their lives.

I was thinking of those 2 years which Rina didn't give us of Eli and Ava after Eli made his 1st kill and killed Oliver who tried to rape Ava and forced her to marry him to make him bury the incident.

What do you guys think happened between them apart from what Rina gave us?

  1. Ava suddenly announcing that she is marrying Eli after she had already had her heart broken once and being rejected by him.

  2. Eli announcing the same that he is marrying Ava after he ignored his childhood obsession and her teenage crush on him.

3.Cole going berserk and sending people to beat Eli in the King's mansion.

  1. Cole and Silver's fight and Silver going to the countryside with Ava till the time being as Ari told Ava after she had amnesia.

  2. Cole refusing to walk Ava down the aisle but finally giving up and agreeing to the marriage and doing it.

  3. The TALK between the KINGS and the NASH before the wedding.

  4. The friend's group role in it.

  5. The wedding planning and day as Vance said that it was the highlight of the year in the media and no event could beat it.

  6. Finally, the 2 difficult years Eli and Ava survived together. Eli trying to get Ava rid of her alcohol and not sending her to the psychiatric facility while also vowing to never have sex with her till then and Ava dealing with both her addiction and psychosis while secretly yearning for Eli.

Post your thoughts!❤️

P.S. Every GoW art is hot but this is...😭❤️

ABOUT ME:

Hi, I am an 18 year old female and I have completed my schooling and entrance examinations. I am going to join my college this year and I have about a month or two to prepare myself for it. Apart from the number of other things I will be doing, I am here to ask about the only thing that I don't have a proper plan about.

REQUEST:

This is going to be a long post and as someone who wanted to do freelance writing since always and is starting now, I would appreciate the people here to guide me.

P.S. I:

I am new to reddit. Though I have been active on it in terms of reading and reacting to posts, posting is new for me, so take it easy on me people;)

PAST:

I have been reading since my childhood and have come a long way from poems, short stories, fables, storybooks, newspapers and magazines to novellas and novels. I had always been fascinated by reading as a medium to know and experience things which I didn't in the physical world. It began as my hobby then my passion and now something which has made me start writing. At first, it was to fulfill the reading needs that left me unsatisfied and then because I wanted people to read my writeups too.

I have been an active student in school whether it was academics, sports or extracurricular activities. I personally enjoyed speaking and writing activities the most like recitals, speeches, debates, extempores and creative writing where I got to express myself. I also participated in local and state writing competitions and won many.

PRESENT:

As I am starting college, am someone who does not do one thing at a time and had to have a temporary source of income anyway, I want to earn it through my writing skills.

I am also going to publish my first book this year for which I will be going on a literary agent and publication house hunt or I will be self publishing, whatever the result comes out to be. This year I have even enrolled myself in international writing competitions. I aim to make writing my passion along with the profession I am pursuing.

WHAT I KNOW:

1. PREPARING MY PROFILE AS A FREELANCE WRITER.

2. SOCIALISING AND SHARING IT WITH PEOPLE; (BOTH ONLINE AND OFFLINE)

3. CREATING ACCOUNTS ON FREELANCING NETWORKING SITES; (UPWORK,FIVERR,FREELANCE)

4. WRITING AND OWNING DIFFERENT TYPES OF WRITEUPS; (LOOKING OUT FOR SCAMS/FRAUDS/TRAPS)

P.S. II:

Looking forward for your support fellow writers:)

So, my exams just ended and I decided to start reading RinaVerse again and obviously started it with my personal favourite Monster Trilogy and my babies Kirill fucking Morozov and Sasha😩♥️

SO HEAR A GIRLIE OUT!

I was left so overwhelmed in the end and couldn't help but think about the story of the side characters in the trilogy😭😭😭

Damn, not just the main characters but we have one of the best side characters in this book with their own story!♥️

1. ANTON AND MAKSIM:

Seriously, they both had so much potential as an MM couple for me after Ethan and Agnus😭

Imagine being an orphan with no family and joining the army, being the heart of it and making everyone your friends and a part of your life only to know that your best friend was never himself and had died already💀

I mean Anton's intelligence and facade, Maksim's unruly and lively character, the reveal of the truth, friends to enemies to lovers trope, the sexual tension, Anton's gay awakening and questioning, Maksim taking a bullet for him and he finally realising his love😭

Damn! their entire journey from the army base camp days to getting married and adopting Mike and being a family!❤️ Now this is a book we needed Rina🥵

2. KARINA AND VIKTOR:

Don't get me started on them😭, after Ilya and Maya they were the best couple to have a Mafia PrincessXBodyguard trope book🥵

Kara was shown as the typical sheltered mafia princess but with a traumatised childhood which resulted in her poor mental health and aversion to the outside world🥹

Her parents whom she tried to love rejected her, her mom wishing she would have died and basically not giving a fuck about her and her dad forcing her into the dark tests with her elder brothers and when finally he started behaving nicely with her, he ended up getting sick and dying.

She could not be so close to Konstantin because of Yulia but her only saviour Kirill too who loved her, left her too for the Russian army ugh!😭 It was so cute to see her attempted death threats at Kirill when he returned and abusing and cursing Sasha before making her her best friend and opening up to her🥹

And Viktor was HOT, being a boy brought up by a single dad who died serving Kirill's dad and then he following in the same footsteps and swearing his loyalty to Kirill for life. I loved his grumpy, stoic, to the point no bullshit nature lmfao🤣

It was so amusing of him to call the army men disrespectful, insolent, and disobedient fuckers😭 Also him getting jealous and petty of Sasha for being more at Kirill's side and then later softening upto her after she came back from faking her death and being with Kirill at his lowest😩

FUCK!!! I almost forgot one part where he warns Kirill that Sasha is getting too close to the "YOUNG LADY" or our Kara😭❤️

Then when Kara started to develop a crush on him🥹 Viktor ignoring her and refusing to touch her with a ten foot pole because he is Kirill's sister🤣 I loved their small moments like her bickering with him to arrange the christmas lights not as security wires and asking Kirill to GIVE Viktor to her🤣

Also him thinking that she is too sheltered for her own good but later them being the end game!!! I so needed their book😭

I was kicking my feet in the air when I read that she and Viktor are married with two kids in HTV ugh my babies😭❤️

Same for Anton and Maksim being the cool uncles and living in Russia, Mike being grown up and married and having a son whom they both babysit😭
