JEE mock is like okay I can see the pattern here, but IAT mock is like What is this question even asking ?
Jee is based on pattern and practice, but IAat just throws very unexpected and it's based on concept based, how you think on the spot. Anyone else feels this difference?
Before mock: “I think I’m prepared” After mock: “I need to rethink my entire life” IAT mocks really humble you, Anyone else?

Guys, my family income is above 20,00,000. I selected that option in the application form, even the same thing was shown in the preview. But, after I made the payment, in the print application options its showing only above 10,00,000.

see thing is i got 98 percentile in jee this yr but due to only 73 percent in boards i cant get any iit nit and dtu nsut is expensive and i wont get anythin there as am outside delhi one so i have filled iat form too i know its for research not for placement and so i already decided to prep for govt exam like cgl,capf etc so am askin can i get enough time to prep for govt exam by enough time i mean 3 hour daily on a avg and apart from this time to follow hobbies like football,music,anime. i knwo maybe in bs ms its tough but can i do thsi all in bs economics or betch at iiserb pls guide thanks for reading

Basically I see alot of people here doing awareness posts, and some do alot fearmongering as well.
I know the system is flawed, but the only way to admission, this year, is the IAT Exam, that you guys need to excel in. If you score less than JEE Aspirant, and he/she decides to take that seat, it'll be given to them because simply they had a better score. They use it for them, or country, or drop out, it's on them, you can't do anything. That's the point.
SO GUYS STUDY FOR NOW.

So many people are debating about the jee/neet crowd coming in lol. Why do you guys even care, the world is all about survival of the fittest. And if you are afraid of the competition (giving reasons like people are just coming in and have no interest in research), you'll meet many people ahead in your life, who might not have the interest in the field they are in(the same field as you) but they'll be better than you. And the world doesn't care about your intentions, it cares about the results.
if someone performs better than you, he is better so you should shut up and sit down.

Study like hell in the two months and trample all the people who came and go over them. Defeat them all. Why do you want to be in your comfort zone. Like c'mon.
Mujhe bhi starting mein lga tha thoda ki itne JEE aspirants kyu aa rhe, but fir mujhe yaad aaya ki inko to maine mains mein bhi haraya hai, sooooo.....
Not downplaying or disrespecting anyone tho. But I believe in myself ki agar jee mains ka topper bhi aajaye, fir bhi I can beat the hell out of him, if i unlock my full potential. And each one of you should believe the same thing.
So stop wasting your time in asking useless questions and get back to studying.

For the IAT 2026 application form , i Have selected the 10th marksheet as the photo ID , now I have two questions
1: what will I put in the unique identification number?
2: will I have to carry the original class 10th marksheet on the day of examination to the exam centre??
What is the research interest for you guys physics, bio ,chem ,math or anything else (what u wanna do for phd)
