I have a roughly 11'x19' room (currently a home gym with 3/4" rubber flooring) that I'm going to convert to a bedroom for my elderly mother who is in a wheelchair. Without going into too much detail there will likely be "fluids" or other things that I dont want leaking down under the flooring or into the sub-floor.
It's adjacent to a room with 3/4" T&G walnut stained hickory flooring. It'll likely have an attached ADA bathroom. I'm thinking some inexpensive floor tiles for the bathroom. I was thinking something like sheet vinyl for the bedroom, maybe something that will compliment the wood flooring in the adjacent room? I dont really want to spend all that much. I'm estimating that I'll need this flooring for anywhere from 2-7 years. after that this room will be a guest room
