Can't figure this game out

Hi I bought this game a few weeks ago(I have all the expansions except Nature Incarnate, but I really suck at it, it's incredible. (Im playing with events and blight card and no adversaries)

I can snatch out a win with some basic ones like Devouring teeth or the one that has +10 land health on sacred sites, but I cant do anything with the more complex ones(but more fun) like Vengeance or Volcano. Especially the first few turns i really have no clue on what to do.

I mainly lose because of blight(or tbf because I get overwhelmed by too many enemies). Do you have any tips or strats? Thanks!

Edit: In a second I got super detailed answers from so many people, thanks so much :S

Hi im enjoying doing arti, but there's a few nodes I can't really do:

-Low pressure. Is the only way to do this with blast doors? It activates the node for a split second and then goes away;

-High pressure. I read about this in the wiki but still can't understand how it works or how to do it

Do you have any tips for these? Thanks

Technically i dont get how gas pumps fully work, but that's another issue...

Platform(s):PC

Genre: Graphic adventure likely

Estimated year of release: End of 1990s first few years of 2000

Graphics/art style: 3d with fixed cameras(it reminds me so much of the first alone in the dark)

Hi everyone, I'm trying to find this game that i really have few details about it, I didnt play it much and it's been more than 20 years since i've played it.

The only thing I remember is this museum(or super really nice house) where there were many items exposed, but if you've touched one ths place wouldve gone in "security mode". Lasers would appear and the guardian of the place spawned at the main door.

The only other thing i remember is the game over screen: a newspaper with the museum and the protagonist.

As I said the graphics ,in my mind, are really like the first alone in the dark, but i couldn't find the level. Also for some reason broken sword rings a bell but again, nothing to be found.

Thanks for reading this
