[old mobile game][2015–2017] calm city exploration with boy character

Hi everyone, I’m trying to find an old mobile game I played around 2015–2017.

It was a calm top-down city game where you control a single boy character. The style was very simple/flat cartoon (old mobile graphics).

You could walk around a city with normal traffic and pedestrians, and interact with the environment (cleaning, fixing, restoring places like roads or areas).

There were no missions, no levels, and no violence — just free roaming and doing “good citizen” actions.

The character was always the same (no customization), and the game icon showed a boy standing in a city.

It feels like a forgotten sandbox life/city exploration game.

I already checked Toca Boca, My Town, LEGO City, G5 games, sandbox crime games, etc., but nothing matches.

If anyone remembers something similar, please help 😭🫶🏻

[PC][2000s] 3D city game where you play a shaggy guy collecting bottles and aliens appear sometimes

I’m looking for an old PC game from around the late 2000s where you play as a young, slightly shaggy-haired guy wandering around a dark, gritty city (at night). The game had a 3D, slightly angled camera and felt a bit like GTA but more laidback and worse graphics. It was less mission focused. A key mechanic I remember is collecting bottles, cans, or trash from the streets and selling or recycling them for money. There were NPCs walking around (their wasn’t much dialogue ig and even if there was, it myst be gibberish), I don’t remember any combat in the game and occasional strange ufo and alien-like encounters that would just appear sometimes. The overall vibe was free-roaming, slightly eerie, and not very intense. Please please please help me find it 😭

[Laptop/pc] [2007-2010] a vaguely open world/linear game for kids, very high saturation, you had to collect something to travel to different islands and I think there was a floating npc that spoke to you

I only vaguely remember this game if I'm honest, but it's that vivid vague type memory where you distinctly remember it existing and certain aspects but nothing else. I remember playing it on my grandads laptop as a young child, it might have been on the cbbc game website but I'm not sure

[PC] [1990-1994] overhead perspective game

Hi all. I am looking for a very old game from my childhood, it was from the early 90’s it had an overhead perspective like the first legend of zelda. All I can remember that the charaxter was a male and you had to collect blue and red gems and diamonds and sort of like keys to unlock new areas. The whole map was very green. I dont even remember what kind of enemies were, hopefully the picture can help

[android] [2010s] 3 in a row merging cutesy type of game

FOUND!!!

here's the link to an older post i made if it might be helpful — https://www.reddit.com/r/tipofmyjoystick/comments/11wxeqd/alcatel_phone_20152016_alcatel_one_touch_pixie_3/

i got a smartphone for new year in 2016 and it came with a few pre-installed games, of which i only remember one (the phone's model is alcatel one touch pixie 3 if that helps). it was horizontal and had a lot of levels, similar to candy crush but not it. it had a cutesy aesthetic to it with a couple of characters that were around in the game in a role of guides of some sort? the color scheme of the game used pastel colors and i remember a lot of pink, purple or blue. it didnt require internet to play it and the levels got harder and harder the higher you got (there was like a staircase that you could climb when you finish each level. i remember there was a location set in the clouds, which was probably one of the higher locations (like level 200 or something)). it got too hard and eventually i just stopped playing it and deleted it from my phone some time later. unfortunately that phone no longer works so i cant like look in the settings if it even works like that. please help me find the game, i tried pretty much everything and still cant find it 😔 its been bugging me ever since i remembered it and i need closure of sorts lol

[Android] [2025] left to right attacking RPG

Please help me. The game I am looking for I played on android tablet.

You attack from left to right and you kill stuff as you walk along.

As you walk left to right you eat kebabs to heal you. Open chests and statues give you power boosts.

You level up your RPG style character with cards.

Help needed!

[PS1][2000s] JRPG-Style Game where you create your companions

Platform(s): PlayStation 1

Genre: JRGP ?

Estimated year of release: probably sometime in the 90s or 2000s

Graphics/art style: 3D Isometric/ top down, Cartoonish and sort of Chibi-style

Notable characters: -

Notable gameplay mechanics: You could create your own companions in a sort of character creator and there was either no or a really high group limit (anything between 8 and 24 members?) I think, there was a jump button.

Other details: I played this when I was still a kid and there was no translation to my native language (German) so I didn't actually understand any of the text or the abilities of the characters or what was actually going on. I was interested in it because it looked like other RPG games I enjoyed at the time (like Breath of Fire 3 or the Dragon Quest series).

I don't think its any of the well-known JRPG series like the Mana or Tales Of series but they have that vibe. I might be wrong though!

[android] [2010-2014] anime soccer game

I'm searching for a soccer game I played a lot when I was little, ranging from 2010 to 2014. It had a pixelated anime style and the players used special moves based on their element.

[Steam] [2018?] Melee, Crossout style building.

I remember seeing a game back in 2018(ish), it was a computer game, I believe on steam, seen on a YouTube video. I thought it was a dream but a friend of mine also remembers seeing it in near exactly the way I did.

Now, this game had a building system somewhat similar to Crossout, in the way where there were predetermined parts you could build with, but you built your own weapons instead of vehicles and I distinctly remember there being a saw/saw blade as one of the parts.

The year isn’t exact, it’s rather broad, I know and I’m sorry, but I just don’t remember much

Any help would be greatly appreciated

[PC] [late 2010s?] Indie horror? game demo about being locked in your home

I randomly remembered this one game that I was following years ago online. It had a gameplay demo, which was a game about a guy inside a loft / apartment. It was a very vibrantly white game, almost like a flashbang when you play it, with pretty good graphics for the time and being indie. I remember something about a bloody hand print or a phone in it.

What I know at least is that there was someone who was updating it, or doing a kickstarter? I Can't recall which, and there were concept art for a concept about there being police at the door (that you can see through a peephole) that were looking shady and a mechanic around it.

If anyone knows this, PLEASE tell me. I saw this originally on YT !

[switch possibly][2020-2026] saw this racing game on YouTube.

I saw this on a YouTube video. I initially thought it might have been one of the horizon chase games, but they aren't this pixely.

I'm rather taken with the delorean design of the car too.

[PC] [~2000] Obscure Sci-Fi FPS

Ask me for details, it's really vague, but I remember it was about a female protag, wearing a suit of armor which upgraded over the course of the game (got bigger and bulkier) and you were alone the entire game, having a few run-ins with a bunch of military who eventually tried to kill you I think ? The box art had a guy in a suit of armor (early game armor) getting blown away in blue sparks, the rest was pretty dark, and the font of the game's title was yellow

[PC][2000s] Arcade racer with a small red car - Might have been a cereal box prize

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m getting desperate. After days of searching, I still can’t find this game from my childhood:

Platform: PC.

Genre: Arcade Racing / Time Trial.

Estimated year of release: Around the early 2000s.

Graphics/Art Style: Third-person view with a relatively high camera angle. The graphics were quite poor even for the time, featuring very bright and saturated colors.

Notable Characters/Vehicles: You drove a small, all-red car that looked like a miniature Formula 1 car.

Notable Gameplay Mechanics: You drove on open maps following an arrow to reach checkpoints. Each checkpoint added time to the countdown; if the timer reached zero, the game was over.

Level Design: * The game was level-based.

The first level was a very green, grassy area.

Subsequent levels included a city and even a stage set in space.

Distribution: I most likely got it for free inside a cereal box or possibly with a computer magazine.

I was quite young back then, so my memory is a bit hazy, but I clearly remember that red car and the "space" level. Does this ring a bell for anyone?

Thank you so much for the help!

[Amiga500] [90s] coop top down shooter

This is a game thats going to sound a lot like alien for Amiga but this has way worse graphics I remember it being blocky/pixelated and the top down view was quite zoomed out which made the characters tiny. I think the theme was sci-fi or generally "cyber".

You could play two players at once and I think the colors blue/black/yellow were common. You could collect energy or credits and either withdraw or deposit them at some kind of terminal. There were lots of enemies if I recall correctly with doors between rooms like in Alien.

For me this game shared a floppy disk with IK+ if that helps anyone.

Played this with a friend who I am meeting next weekend and would be nice to surprise him with it. My memory is fuzzy since its been more than 30 years since I played it.

Don't think it was very popular/good but I am grateful for any tips.

[MinecraftOnXbox][2018]Old Mod I played with my dad

EDIT: As I thought about it I’m pretty sure my baby bro wasnt born yet, so it may have been 2016

You spawned inside a mansion castle thing and as you soon naw your way out it seems to have been blow open, there’s fire around it but you make it past. You wander the streets of an old village style area, yet light posts are out. There are a series of tasks you need to complete, one of which is defeating some guant yetis, and at the very end you are rewarded with some spawb eggs which spawn a blue phoenix looking bird you can fly around.

A few of these details may be a bit off but I was young and only remember spending all day laughing, struggling, and yelling about just to beat it before we had to go to be. it was legendary and I would pay to know what mod it was.

It was a mod pack, like the ones with a world, texture pack, and mod. and of course I played it on the xbox

[iPod Touch][Early] Pixel Art / Anime Style - Strategy - Side scrolling

I remember being multiple games I think, you would send units out and there may have been been a map with multiple levels. Actual levels played like Age of War (sending units) and maybe 2 lanes? Top and bottom. Other artistic setting = Fantasy meets steam technology?

[PC] [2010s or before] Game about a fem protagonist looking for her father

i remember playing this in 2015 but I'm sure it came out before that. the main premise of the game followed a female protagonist who goes looking for her father. im not exactly sure why, but it has something to do with him going on some adventure as well. there was usually a list of things written in the bottom and you'd had to click on the things to cross them off. but every so often some puzzle usually dropped that you'd have to complete. the most important and vivid image i have is that the protagonist travels to a bunch of places all over the word. I remember her going to africa, the swiss alps, a mayan/aztec site, possibly somewhere in japan, and russia as well. there were some niche places as well like the protagonists father's house, somewhere where we fix an airplane, a railway station etc. towards the end we reach russia where we release some holy ghost and then we reach the father's library. after a bunch of puzzles i remember a portal opens up and thats it. the art was very detailed for how long ago it was, and some npcs popped up in whatever place we visited. please help me find this!!
