iPad App

I know it’s not everyone’s first tool/device, but I’m curious if anyone knows of roadmap or improvements to the IPad app.

It works - fine - I guess. But it’s a pretty frustrating experience many times.

Just curious if anyone has a feel on how high the priority is for this?

I know MANY of you have already discovered this. And I am very late to the party.

I scoffed at this little gadget - - until I actually used it. Completely transforms the reading experience.

If you are on the fence - just get one :) I thought it was silly - until I used it for the first time!

This is the Kobo Remote - look it up on their site or Amazon as I’m not sure we can post procuct links here.

It seems like we’ve lost the custom pixel specifcation for mobile sidebar with the last update (in Style Settings)? Or am I missing something?

It was a godsend as it made NN actually usable on IPad.

Without it - the pinned sidebar is so narrow, its unsuable.

Any ideas where it went, and if it’s coming back?

I received them yesterday and love them. This sound - holy smokes. However, I KNOW they have great battery life. But, they have shown 40% battery from the moment I took them out of the box - and still shows 40% this morning after a good deal of usage yesterday. This is showing in the app (not aware of another way to see the battery usage.)

I feel like this should have gone down by now, and causes me to think this is a weird bug?

Or are the batteries JUST that good? lol

Any help?

Had APM1 for years - developed (likely condensation) damage in the right ear so it has static when moving them around, but still able to use them as it’s only when they move. Ok. Fine.

Bought the Sony WH1000-XM6 a few months ago, used them, and immediately thought “wow - these are the best headphones I’ve ever used! Great clarity, NR, etc.

But, then the APM2 came out. Put them on, and the sound blew me away immediately.

🛫🫤 Then traveled with them. Miserable. Horrid experience. Amazingly uncomfortable. Same as the 1s. Have you ever tried laying your head on the wall of an airplane with these on? Ain’t gonna happen. Headache after an hour.

But, I just can’t get over the sound.

So, here’s my $600 plan … as I have to decide TODAY to send them back or not.

- Keep the APM2 for everyday, coffeehouse, meetings, office, in-town use. Don’t really care about comfort and the large footprint.

- Keep the Sonys only for travel. I.e. foldable, packable, comfortable, great battery.

Am I an idiot? Likely :) What do you think?
