What are some low calorie sweets

What are some no sugar, low calorie sweets or sweet substitutes that are delicious and can be store-bought or extremely easy to make (require no baking). I'm looking for something to satiate wicked sweet tooth that loves everything from ice cream to donuts.

subpoena for medical records

California. For subpoena for medica records, I use SUBP-010 Deposition Subpoena for Production of Business Records, correct?

Does the attorney expect you to fill out Attachment 3 or do they usually fill this in themselves? If we do it, how do we know what to put?

The order goes, correct:

  • Serve Notice of Consumer and Subpoena with Attachment 3
  • Wait 10 days for objection
  • Personally serve the subpoena on the witness

Thanks :)

Changing core belief about work

I have developed a core belief that I can't do/keep a job because I have always had difficulty maintaining long-term employment. Deep down I believe that I can't do it. It feels like there is some evidence for that because I have lost several jobs recently. I worry there is something fundamentally wrong with me that prevents me from keeping a position. I think I do not have the knowledge and skills and that is a major problem but low self-esteem, anxiety, and catastrophizing are also huge problems. I have a great fear that I'm going to be fired and that interferes with my work. How can I change my core belief?

Insurance defense

I don’t know anything about this practice area. Can any one share what is it exactly, what it’s like, what tasks you do, how to bill and make sure you meet your billable hours, tips, tricks and cheat sheets? Thanks!

Three weeks ago I received an “informal” job offer and was told to follow up last Friday if I hadn’t heard from HR. I didn’t hear from them so followed up as requested and was told that references had been checked and they were deciding on the salary and they would contact me with an offer. Yesterday I received another offer which is in the pay range I wanted but the problem is that I don’t have any experience and I don’t know how to do the job. That’s a very big problem but it’s the only offer I have.

When I got the offer I contacted the place that gave me the informal offer and told them I received an offer asked if they could give me the offer by the end of the day today. The hiring manager responded that she reached out to see if they could make me an offer but did not hear back. That was yesterday. She did not give me any kind of response today.

Seeing that she did not respond to me today, do you think this is a dead lead? I’m unhappy because I think she’s stringing me along. If I don’t hear from her I plan to take the other offer but I wish she would have responded so I could compare the offers. Do you think I could still hear from her?

I am going tomorrow to Wednesday. Any recommendations? I’m staying at the Bellagio so walking distance from there would be great but not absolutely necessary.

Any deals near there I should know about?

Thanks.

I made $80k at my last job in a high cost of living area. My impression from looking is that was about market. In retrospect, I think my level of experience did not match my salary so I think I was probably getting paid more than my market value. I’m not sure what my market value is tho. I have several years of experience but short term jobs in different practice areas.

I have an informal offer from a non profit that I am interested in. When interviewing they did not ask about salary and from their website they have a little blurb that they set the amount based on relevant experience so they may not deem my experience to be relevant. Seeing that the offer is going to be a non profit and not a firm do you think it is negotiable? I’m afraid it’s going to be really low compared to what I was making before. What do you think would be reasonable to expect from a non profit which may not have a lot of flexibility in offering salary? It’s a huge non profit so they have a lot of revenue.

I’m not really willing to walk away so maybe I shouldn’t negotiate but I expect a drastic pay cut so I’m thinking about it. Thoughts?
