I don't have one that I hate the most. They all look cool and themed. But if I had to choose one, it's most likely be the Excalibur. Yes, the exterior looks cool. But inside, it looked like a warzone when I went there.
We have exclusively stayed at Wynn properties for over a decade. We come to Vegas 4-5x a year. My husband even has Private Access which is an invite only status from Wynn that gives some perks and special room pricing.
What we have noticed is the prices for the larger suites we book are off the charts. We will usually stay in an Encore Parlor Suite or the Studio Suite. These rooms were expensive before, but I just went to book a 4 night stay and it was over $10,000. The room cost with taxes and fees has just gotten nuts.
I don't see them changing it because the model is obviously working for them. I just think it is outlandish pricing now. No we aren't gamblers betting huge amounts to get free rooms and food. We like to just enjoy the property and restaurants on our own dime not worrying about gambling quotas. We now will be doing it in a regular king room, because I can't justify spending that amount.
Wondering if there are any Wynn clients here who have noticed this or locals who have heard anything about their pricing model. Thanks!!
Like what the title states, and I'm about to age myself here. I remember back in the 2010s, females were all decked out in the highest pumps/heels our feet could (or could not) handle. It's been awhile since I've been to a Vegas nightclub, are heels still kinda like an unwritten rule? What kind of footwear are women wearing nowadays to dayclubs & nightclubs?
I'm staying at the Siegel Select Convention Center, which I believe is a 3 minute walk off the strip.
As a solo female, obviously that 3 minute walk can feel scary late at night.
Can anyone tell me whether this street is busy and well lit?
Thanks so much.
I am coming into town next week for 4 nights. Originally was going to stay at the Cosmopolitan (balcony foundation view) for $1600. I now can book the Resorts World on all Hilton points. Our plan is to eat at least 1 nice meal per day, hang at the pool, maybe wife goes to the Spa. I enjoy gambling but not crazy about it. I did see the poker room at RW is closing so I would have to venture elsewhere. Also visiting the Sphere and planning on seeing Absinthe. Please convince me to stay at RW and tell me all of the good and bad! It seems this sub is very anti RW…
Thanks!
I feel like I'm going crazy. I've been trying to book 4 tickets for 4/17 at 7PM and when I get to checkout it always defaults to 4/16.
I then tried 4/18 and it defaults to 4/17.
Am I going insane?
have an ill family member dealing with chronic illness and depression as well, one small bedroom, mostly clothing strewn everywhere , along with random trash and floor needs sweeping and mopping, what should we expect to pay for their room to be thoroughly gutted and cleaned? it’s definitely not filth, just clutter and messy floor and dust
Hi! I happen to have an extra ticket for tonight’s mad apple show for free. If anyone is interested, please DM me. I will respond to the first person that DMs.
Edit: Hi for efficiency sake, please also confirm if you can arrive at 9-9:30 in your DM. I have people asking but not confirming they can come get the ticket at showtime
I have about $160 left in resort credit. Leaving tomorrow. Probably will only use $60 more. Any ideas on how to drain it? I’m thinking of bringing some bakery back from the Aria Patisserie. Just found out can’t be used in any retail stores.
Anyone ever stay there? How is it? Rooms seemed decent and reasonably priced. Near the strip and a balcony included. 5 days 4 nights for around roughly $700 after tax and sales fees.
I know this is super last minute but my friend had a last minute emergency come up and is no longer able to attend the Bruno Mars concert tonight. Pretty decent seat: Section C134 Row 15 Seat 9. Is anyone interested?
Friend couldn’t make it. SEC C115 / ROW 3 originally paid $1000. Will sell for $500 OBO. Message me to meet up and buy.
Looking for info on a driving range (grass or turf) other than Top Golf. Just want to go out and hit some balls before a 4 day golf tourney.
has anyone ever used ubereats for delivery to vdara? is it a pain, or worth not having to go shopping for yourself?
I just want a few grocery items but don't wanna go to the store myself.
🏜️ Las Vegas Cleaning Tips (Today)
Las Vegas air = fine desert dust that settles fast.
• Always start with dry dusting first, then wet wipe
• Use microfiber cloths (they trap dust instead of spreading it)
• Hit ceiling fans + vents before floors
⸻
In places like Las Vegas homes:
• Wipe vent covers (they collect heavy buildup fast)
• If allowed, remind clients: “Dirty filters = higher AC bills”
• Makes you look more professional and observant
⸻
Because it’s hot today:
• Clean glass last (it streaks faster in heat)
• Use less product on surfaces (evaporation causes residue)
• Spray → wipe quickly, don’t let it sit long
⸻
Bathroom focus (Vegas hard water issues)
• Shower glass gets mineral spots quickly
• Use vinegar-based cleaner or descaler
• Dry wipe fixtures after cleaning for shine boost
⸻
Floors pick up EVERYTHING
• Vacuum BEFORE mopping (always)
• Go slow in high-traffic areas—sand gets embedded
• Microfiber mop > sponge mop in desert homes
⸻
Before leaving:
• Turn pillows straight
• Fold towels hotel-style
• Light wipe of counters again for shine
