Recently flew Leeds - Bucharest return. No issues with the flights both on time.
Firstly, passengers refusing to sit down when taxing and seat belt sign on. One passenger near me stood up to get something out of the overhead locker as the plane was at full throttle on the runway about to take off. Crew has to shout at her to sit down
Secondly people sitting where they want. Someone was in my friends assigned seat, and the other passenger refused to move despite cabin crew telling them the plane wont leave until they do.
And the big one, a passenger refusing to put his seatbelt on for landing. He was a big guy in an emergency exit seat. He needed a belt extender and was told he cant sit there with a belt extender. He moved for takeoff to another empty seat, but moved back for landing. When the cabin crew told him he cant sit there for landing, he refused to move. 2 cabin crew told him either you make the normal seat belt fit, or you have to move. He refused to do both and got irate
Im not sure what cabin crew do in that situation? They told him we cant land unless he moves, but if he refuses what do you do? Eventually he did when he realised he was going to delay the whole flight landing
Crew had a nightmare. Speaking to some of the crew after, this appears to be an issue with flights in and out of Romania
