It should’ve Been You by Andrea Mara

I literally regret even reading it. I feel like I wasted my time on this book and should have dnfed it 30 pages in but I kept telling myself, “it will get better” it will get better .. NO IT DIDNT 😭

Please tell me I am not the only one who absolutely hated this.

Zero cal/sugar free syrups

I’ve been buying the torani syrups, but i have to say, I DO NOT LIKE THE PRICE …. Is there a cheaper alternative (besides not using them)? I drink 2ish cups of coffee a day & really enjoy the flavors.

Just finished My Husbands Wife. While I hated it in the beginning, I am glad I finished it! The ending was superb and very UNEXPECTED!!!!!

I literally can’t get enough of the egg white rice cake duo! I usually use cottage cheese but have done it with avocado as well. Have been thinking of different variations I can add as well instead of the turkey! 244 cals for 39g of protein, I’ll take that!

103g of egg whites
2 lightly salted rice cakes
40g of cottage cheese, 1% milk, fat
4.2 oz of turkey.

My 5 year old associates me with sleep. It’s becoming detrimental to my own sleep.

I used to lay in bed with him until he fell asleep would leave in the middle of the night, and then he would come get me. For about a week now, I have been out of the bed and into a chair next to the door. (We gradually went from the end of the bed, over to the door throughout the week). I stay in the chair until he falls asleep. He lays down at 7:30 USUALLY (not always) asleep by 8:30.

We have a sound machine, screen time is limited to turn off one hour before bed. He has stuffies, and a sound machine. I gave him a book to help him stay in bed if he wakes in the middle of the night so he had something to do besides come get me. I got him an OK to Wake clock, red at 7:30pm green at 6:30 am. He still comes to get me in the middle of the night.

I want to pull the plug tomorrow and go ahead and just put him in bed, tuck him in, and leave but I know he will follow me. Any advice on this? What about the middle of the night?

My son associates me with sleeping. 5 years old, medicated adhd.

I’m in the middle of “sleep training” if you will. I removed myself from him bed, pretty much all week .( I was EXHAUSTED last night and fell asleep in the middle of the night in his bed) I bought an ok to wake clock, he doesn’t care, at all, about it.

He is falling asleep easier but he is still waking needing me to come into his room. Does anyone have experience with this and recommendations on what else I can do? I plan to start tomorrow (Friday) and only sit in his room for 10 minutes and leave, and every time he gets up, put him back to his bed only saying a short phrase like, it’s time for bed or the light is red, it’s time for bed.

I’m at my wits end with the night wakings/needing me for sleep because I am just exhausted. I am accepting any form of advice.

We are meeting with his psych tomorrow. My son is 5, he takes Guanfacine 1mg at night and .5mg during the day. He has ALWAYS had an issue with sleeping. Mostly staying asleep during the night. I know that he also associates me with sleeping so we are working on this.

Has anyone used magnesium spray vs the pills/liquid form? Does the magnesium help with staying asleep through the night?

225g of egg whites with about 31g of cottage cheese on lightly salted rice cakes + 127g of cottage cheese & 59g of cherub tomatoes & 2g everything bagel seasoning … oh and plenty of hot sauce

312 calories, 25g carbs, 1g of fat, 43g of protein…

Mat Pilates has changed my entire fitness journey! I have done countless exercises on YouTube and Pilates has far been the BEST workout yet. It leaves me sore but a good sore and I feel like it really targets strength and that has what I have been looking for! Highly recommend!!!!

Both of these photos were taken today, one after the other. Number 1 was taken posed with “correct posture” number 2 is relaxed. How do I maintain the correct posture? I know I have an atp that is my main goal to fix, as well as losing weight.

32F 5’2 SW: 160 current weight 147 GW: unsure

I’ve been focusing on a strict calorie deficit, walking 10k+ steps a day and body weight workouts (squats, calf raises, wall push ups). I am at a point where my belly really needs help. I am definitely weak in the core (kids and I’ve been lazy for years) I have been doing deep core exercises but would like to know more or have more options. I’ve been doing deep breathing, The McGillian Big 3 (also trying to fix my posture and possible pelvic tilt), and focusing on engaging my core daily. what else can I do in addition to this?
