Title says it all, im not the greatest player at all but i do think i can have interesting insight on the game.

Especially from a psychological/gamesense kind of way.

I have never been mechanically dominant, i basically climbed to ascendant purely with gamesense and i am currently working on my mechanics to try and reach immortal.

I’d love to answer any questions you may have, just for all you low elo players, please be specific, don’t just say “im gold how do i get good” or something like that.

He has such an amazing voice and such great skill but in my opinion his voice with autotune just sounds ass.

Like honestly i’d really like basically all of his songs is he just sang them with minimal autotune, but his voice in his songs just sound so ass.

And i can’t seem to find anybody who shares the same opinion, am i the only one who loves his voice but loathes his autotuned voice?

Im considering getting a new keyboard but i do value sound quite a bit, fo you guys know any relatively cheap HE keyboards that sound good?

So this is an idea I have been working on for about 2 weeks so I will end up releasing a prototype on my itch page at one point, this post is to see if people understand and/or enjoy the idea.

What i mean by alchemy based shooter is that your bullets are based on potion effects, think of it as like embuing your bullets with a potion effect.

You will be able to make your own potion to embue your bullets with, this will be the core mechanic of the game.

To make your own potions you will be able to mix different predetermined potions together and however you like.

As an example:

If you wish your bullet to create a chain of lightning that arcs to enemies and explodes on each impact, you can mix an explosive potion and an electric potion together. If you wished the damage to be more focused on the explosion you can also choose to put more explosive potion than electric potion (75-25% for example)

Throughout your dungeons runs you will be able to collect ingredients by looting rooms and killing enemies and either sell them for cash, or use them to create the base potions you shall use for mixing, you will also be able to upgrade your current potions to a higher tier for better effects.

The roguelite part comes in with each run, you will be able to get general modifiers that affect certain aspects of your gameplay (stuff like explosions deal 50% more damage for example or more complicated stuff which alters how some mechanics work), each dungeon layout will be randomly generated.

The point of this game is basically power creep, you want to become as OP as possible with the help of your creativity :3

So I usually play on my main pc with \~200fps and I have no problems.

Recently though I had to go to another country for something so I’m stuck on my laptop.

It can consistently hit \~60fps but has horrible input delay on anything over 30fps and i’m not sure why.

I’d assume at high fps my cpu simply cannot handle the inputs but I don’t for certain that that’s the case.

Any ideas as to why this happens?

I don’t hate aim training, I even find it quite enjoyable, but I never seem to be able to get myself to do it?

It’s not even like im lost, I know a lot of the theory behind aiming since I genuinely find it interesting, I love learning about stuff, I love learning what might be causing issues in aiming.

Yet, I cannot get myself to actually aim train.

Am I the only person who enjoys aim training and its different faces yet never aim trains?

Neon isn’t OP, she is a strong agent for sure and should get a nerf, but what she needs is a rework.

Neon fundamentally does not fit into Valorant.

With basically every agent you need to spend a lot of time learning and practicing to get the most value out of said agent. The best agent of nearly every role usually is the one with the highest skill ceiling and highest skill floor (Viper, Astra all that).

But Neon isn’t like that, you can get most of neon’s value very easily without much of a learning curve. Neon has a high skill ceiling sure, but she also has a really low skill floor.

Thats why neon is so good in low elo, you can just run and slide one tap people since low elo players dont know how to prepare for a slide or how to play around a neon.

I think this is why I dont feel like neon is that strong in my ranked games, I rarely feel like a neon got an unfair kill on me and I’m usually able punish neons quite easily.

But when it comes to low elo? It must be hell, and this is reflected in the amount of hate neon is getting online.

The pro scene is also centered around neon at the moment with basically every team playing her since at very high levels, she is near impossible to counter.

If a neon slides at you and her teammate short swings you, you are dead no matter what.

So this is Neon’s issue, low skill floor and a lot of impact for little effort/skill required.

Now the fix?

I don’t know.

Personally I don’t find her running that strong by itself so i would say removing her slides entirely would be a good step in the right direction since that is her main problem. Her stun and wall are completely fine.

But how should we replace her slide?

I’m not sure. Please leave your suggestions in the comments.

Honestly something like a self stim could work, press it and instantly get stimmed for like 5 seconds and then get a recharge after 2 kills.

This would allow her to take more space while running and get an advantage before peeking someone. So pretty strong, but not OP either imo.

Maybe make it like 25-50% as strong as a brim stim?
