Just got this as a gift but know nothing about watches. Also can’t seem to find it anywhere online. But love the look, all the watches in this Reddit are beautiful.

Just got back from my second trip to PR as a daca recipient and im so in love with the island. Highly recommend if you haven’t, I know things are hot right now but travel! Will make it a goal to visit every year.

But It makes me yearn to be able to travel to other counties :( I always say traveling to PR is the closest we will get to traveling outside the country safely. I know people here are scared to travel especially to places like PR but life is so short. You will be good. God got us. Any daca recipients live in PR? I want to make it a goal of mine to experience living there temporarily. Beautiful place and beautiful people. Highly recommend!

Honestly, I was underwhelmed with food in PR. Maybe I went to the wrong spots.

Maybe it’s because I’m from NY but idk I just didn’t have an amazing meal when I was in PR. I stayed in San Juan for a few days and then luquillo for some days as well. The best thing I had was an emapanadilla at seven seas beach. I had mofongo from cayo caribe (genuinely I’m just not big on mofongo in general, feel if the plantain was softer maybe I’d like it more), had don Tako in osj (the birria tacos were good. This spot was actually good), went to chicharron in la placita (bistec was underwhelming and rice was stale), an uber drive swore he lived in nyc and that the pizza in pr was much better (already knew this was a lie but I went to pizza king I think it’s called near playa isla verde and tasted like frozen pizza, I hear the pizza in the kioskos is good but I didn’t try, but better than ny? Cmon lol), had edelweiss in the kioskos and again food was not great. Had pinchos also from the kioskos and felt the meat was too hard. The last kiosk was decent I forget what it was called, but I only had fried food from there. I love alcapurrias. The Chinese food was pretty good but I didn’t like the garlic tostones they are drowned in garlic it was too much. Idk overall I’m not saying it’s bad it just wasn’t amazing, and I’m not hating at all just honest feedback and hoping to get other recommendations. Really love Puerto Rico nonetheless. Will try to go every year. If anyone got other suggestions for my next trip based on the spots I went to I’ll gladly take them. Que viva Puerto Rico carbon 🇵🇷
