White wedding dresses reek of Virgin Sacrifice.

This opinion was definitely influenced by experiencing all the worst sides of marriage, but still…
Given the connotation of a woman in white, colorful gowns need to become more mainstream.

I used to wear wigs bc it was fun for dress up occasions. Now it’s just bc I don’t have hair (sigh)

A perfect storm of menopause, autoimmune issues, and emotional abuse had just about all of my hair falling out. I tried to make the best of it for a few years (denial, anyone?), but this January, it became obvious that a daily wig was now a must. That meant wearing a lot of platinum blonde for a while (which I didn’t hate, it just made me feel like I stood out and standing out for my hair wasn’t ideal). So recently, I treated myself to this beauty. Super close to my natural hair color, and really good quality, especially for the price ($90-ish from Amazon).
Setting it each morning was nerve wracking at first, but now it’s just “doing my hair”.☺️

In the picture, it’s pulled back in a ponytail - down, it’s 20”.

Are there any women in the sub?

Middle age, autoimmune disease, and years of emotional trauma have gotten me to the point of wearing wigs daily - I seem to have inherited my father’s massively receding hairline, with a few very noticeable bald spots thrown in. I’ve never heard of a woman undergoing HT though.
I know it just seems logical that women could have it done, too - I just find myself stuck having never seen it.

She had us at “underbite”…

This is Millie. In addition to that amazing smile, she was also born with an under developed ham string, so one of her legs is a bit gimpy. The shelter we adopted her from *apologized* bc her daughter who evidently looked just like her but with an ideal bite and four working legs had already been adopted. Are you kidding? The snaggle tooth is what made us come adopt her! Wouldn’t change a single thing 💖

I’ve been bombarded w/ angel numbers since deciding to leave my marriage

So grateful to find a group of folks who can appreciate my experience -
Two Septembers ago, the last straw fell for my marriage and I finally, after 24 years, decided to leave. I decided to wait to move out until January, but beginning almost immediately after the realization, I started seeing angel numbers multiple times a day, to the point where it was almost eerie. I decided to capture as many as I could just to be able to prove it to myself. I only screen capped or took a photo if they were numbers I stumbled across, no saving any intentional findings (*no seeing 11:10 just to wait for 11:11*). I stopped collecting a few months back mainly because I was worried about eating up memory on my phone, lol. I do still see them, and say thank you every time 😊 Every angel number/synchronicity feels like my own personal spiritual cheer squad telling me how right I was to start over.

PS- I literally just noticed that photo was captured at 11:11. Awesome. Thank you.💖
