Volunteer with us for Go By Bike Week!

Hey SFU folks! 🚲

Go By Bike Week is coming back to Metro Vancouver from May 30 - June 5!

HUB Cycling will be hosting free Celebration Stations with snacks, cycling maps, free basic bike tune-ups, and we’re currently looking for volunteers to help make them happen!

We’ll have a station at each SFU campus:

  • Mon, June 1 (8-10 AM) | SFU Vancouver (515 W Hastings St, Vancouver)
  • Wed, June 3 (8-10 AM) | SFU Burnaby (Cornerstone Square, Burnaby)
  • Thur, June 4 (8-10 AM) | SFU Surrey (10285 University Dr, Surrey)

Volunteer roles mostly involve helping with set-up/take-down, handing out snacks and cycling maps, chatting with the public, and helping create a fun and welcoming atmosphere for people biking through the city ☺️

It’s a really fun way to meet people, spend some time outside after a long exam season, and get involved with the local cycling community. Plus, a lot of the shifts work well for students looking for volunteer experience or community involvement hours!
