Now that she's gotten a few light rounds of TLC the domed satchel I got is turning into a bag I really love. I never expected to like it - I figured it was an investment in rehab practice. Why not both? 😎

Decide to try on a few more and can't wait to share with you all!

Care & What's Missing

I recently picked up this bag and am trying to figure out which one it originally was so I can clean and replace parts. I know it was originally white and I like the blue, the price was minimal so I'm not concerned about the value.

It appears to be from the early 90s but I'm having trouble finding photos of this bag inside for comparison.

The outside is leather and I can clean that - what material is the inside? My first guess is to treat it like I would suede, but is there a lining to replace? Does it need another pocket insert? I want to clean her without doing any more damage. TIA!!

I ended up with a black wool pencil skirt in an auction and am trying to figure out what year it's from. There is no QR code on the garment label so I can't scan it. Does anyone know how to figure this out from the other tag? I've Googled and come up with nothing useful. I never expected to have a Gucci skirt so I'm woefully unprepared to solve this.

Never even seen a Radley before and this was in the clearance section at Marshalls for $39. Why not??

I just scored these two beauties (secondhand, NWT) and I am so in love. Just finished a light conditioning and they feel so incredible in my hands. The smell of the leather is just right! Hopefully we are bffs forever, and if I'm lucky I can snag their siblings in different colors someday.

I'm newer to PM but I've been casually buying and selling for years on other platforms. Recently I've gotten back into cleaning and conditioning my own leather items and it's triggered me noticing leather items more while I'm browsing - especially where the condition of the item looks kinda dirty.

1- Dirt and poor care aren't always patina. I feel like "patina" gets thrown around to hide all kinds of bad condition. Sometimes it's fairly obvious. Is that worth reporting a listing for miscategorized?

2- I'm considering buying some items to clean up and resell myself. I would make a new listing instead of "reposh" - is that bad form?

I know these are kind of a*hole questions, this is my nitpick brain talking. Sellers who fudge condition reports make it worse for everyone, and leather is a special interest of mine.
