What kinds of things did your peers do to you or say about you when you were in school?

What kinds of things did your peers do to you or say about you when you were in school?

FA is about lack of relationship, but I feel like there's also a strong correlation between FA and being socially ostracized.

When you were in school (or if you're in school now), what things did your peers do to you? Or what kinds of things did they say to you?

I imagine that y'all were unpopular just like I was

Jared "sold high" McCain in the closeout game against the Lakers: 13 points, 5/10 FG, 3/8 3PT

McCain made a meaningful contribution to the Thunder off the bench to secure the W in a game where the Lakers were very close. His buckets were critical and timely.

What are good questions to ask a hiring manager during an interview to gauge if they're going to be toxic to work with or pleasant to work with?

There's always the "do you have any questions for me?" at the end of an interview.

I want to use that opportunity to gauge the manager a little bit.

Do y'all have any ideas? Something that'd be a good litmus test. Since you guys have the managerial perspective, maybe y'all know of questions that'd let one see their true colors or reveal a clue.

It's a gorgeous Sunday! The sun is out, the birds are chirping, the air is crisp.... are you going outside to hang out with friends to enjoy the weather?

Today is such a lovely day.

It'd be nice to have something like this to look forward to and attend before the next work/school week, wouldn't you say?

Recharge the batteries and relax, have a laugh and fuel your soul to take on next week's challenges?

Shouldn't the Blue-Eyes White Dragon be called the Blue-Eyes Blue Dragon? Why is it called white dragon if it's colored blue?

Its name implies it would be a white dragon, but instead it is a blue dragon.

Is the color in the anime inaccurate?

Blake Griffin on Jared McCain: "They didn't sell high enough"

Near the end of Jared's chat with Taylor Dirk Steve UD Blake (time stamp 5:11), Blake chimed in with "they didn't sell high enough". Do you agree with Blake or do you disagree with him?

McCain hit a couple of three pointers, even from logo distance. In addition to his long distance shots, he showed his ability to cleverly finish near the rim.

Has anyone volunteered at bitcoin++ event before? Did you enjoy it? Would you recommend volunteering there?

I'm thinking of volunteering at bitcoin++ to network with some professionals, learn some new things, perhaps it could be a cool experience.

Thoughts? Do y'all think it's a good idea?

OKC was already winning without him, but McCain let them pull away and gave them more of a comfortable cushion to help OKC seal game 1.

During 1st interview with HR, I said 60k when asked.

During 2nd interview with hiring manager, I learned more concrete details about the role beyond the job description. I realized 60k was actually a lowball and 70k is more appropriate for the level of work.

Can I ask for a higher salary? And if so, at what time?

Would the correct timing be after I get an offer letter? Like if the offer letter says 60k, then I can counter with 70k?

They gave me a temporary trial subscription to their SaaS platform to do this.

Basically, their customers can create apps. They want me to create an app on their platform, then in the interview answer questions like how I built the app, how I designed it, how I'd invite someone to the app and how I'd conduct a push notification on the app. No coding involved btw.

I gotta do tasks like edit the home page layout, edit the default app pages, understand how leads are retrieved, enable lead retrieval and setting up appointments.

They said I can use their pics from a predefined template they gave(banner, logo, graphics) or use my own which would help me stand out more.

Is this a normal kind of assignment for an interview?

Seems kind of excessive. I don't know - want to gauge with y'all what you think.

I applied to a company. I'm in the middle of interviewing - round 3 interview is in a few days.

But, I made the decision to commit to another job opportunity. In that case, how do I word that I'd like to withdraw? I'd rather not waste their time nor mine from this point.

Would "I decided to pursue something else. I want to withdraw my application. Please let interviewers know I appreciate their time, and I wish you and everyone there success. I hope that I may be considered for a position in the future." be good?

I want to do it in a polite way without getting blacklisted - I hope they don't think a year later like "oh that Bob guy bailed on us halfway through the interview process, don't pick him for an interview next time!"
