Hi guys I’m a senior deciding what uni I should go to.

I’m deciding between tmu creative industries or Ocad integrated media.

As for job prospects I really don’t know what I want in the future I do know tho that I want to be a creative working around creative people or atleast in a creative industry. I currently do some freelancing work such as photography, short films, music videos and beat making production as a hobby.

So basically very physical media, community oriented. I’m thinking abt becoming an a&r or maybe a creative director cuz I already direct and shoot for some of my friends brands, at concerts etc.

I’m just looking for a good program that can allow me to dive into a lot of creative fields until I figure out what’s my niche. I also just want a degree to my name for networking/job prospect reasons or atleast so I have something to fall back on if I don’t go big.

I’m really into like mowalola’s creative directing and wanna get into stuff like that in the city/mtl/gta area . I wanted to go to Concordia in mtl for the same reasons, to be around creatives and be in spaces with people with the same vision as me.

So if u were me what program would u choose? Tmu creative industries or Ocad integrated media?

Can yall please flush the toilets. This is disgusting, we are all adults and we all learnt to flush the toilets when we were kids (well ig not). It takes less than 10 seconds to flush and clean up after yourself.

Title, thinking of CPCS120 and CMTH131 this spring and was wondering if anyone has done this combination before or if it’s doable

Profs are Majed Alqasas and Omar Falou, I see great rmp ratings but not sure if they’re trustworthy

I’m curious what people are actually using to keep track of assignments and get started on them.

Do you use anything besides basic stuff like Google Docs or a to-do list?

Things I’ve seen people mention:

• Notion
• Todoist
• ChatGPT
• Google Calendar

A few questions I'm curious about:

1. What tools do you actually use for assignments?
2. Do they genuinely help you start faster or just organize things?
3. Are any of them paid, and if so how much?
4. If there were software that turned assignment instructions into clear steps and helped you start and finish faster, what would that realistically be worth to you as a student? How much would you pay per month or per year?

I feel like a lot of productivity tools help with organization but not actually starting the assignment, which is the part a lot of people struggle with most.

Curious what people here are using.
