This is such a dumb localization name for Apex Polymerization.
I don't get the logic behind the name localization here, Apex Polymerization worked great. Especially with this being a Yuri card, the naming is just off with his whole character.

Hey guys it’s me again, again the discussion is pretty much the title. What doe you guys think Yugioh does better than other card games on the market?
For me there is a lot of different answers but the main one is engagement. For my attention deficit butt other card games are super boring whenever it’s ur opponents turn or if u become mana screwed and Yugioh can sometimes have these issues they typically resolve way quicker than that of the typical card game. Atleast in Yugioh I can watch my opponent careful so I can play handtraps on there turn or set a card in my turn even if my hand is a dud.
Clown Crew is low rarity.
Other pendulum power patron low rarity.
Kewl Tune cards not shown. We are aware that the new synchro is an ultra rare from a previous ad.
Elfnote not shown.
Trains not shown. We are aware the new schedule spell is a secret rare from a previous ad.
7 GMX - related cards were shown. The others were low rarity.
Of course it’s Blue Eyes White Dragon 🩵💙
And it was supposed to be three, but I was only able to obtain one because of other priorities.
We all know Yu-Gi-Oh! is the most popular in Japan, but what other countries out there have the most fans?
As a brazilian kid, the anime used to be shown on TV Globinho, the primetime kids TV for YEARS. It was such a huge phenomenon that it would often get used as an example of "kids summoning the devil" as a kind of satanist scare, and was often banned in schools (which only made it more popular). I would say its decline started at the beginning of the GX era -- we only saw the first season of GX on primetime TV, then it was only available on paid channels which most kids don't have access to. The 5Ds era onwards never caught on.
Nowadays, most people over the age of 25 recognize the classic cards, but kids 20 or less don't know anything about it at all.
How big is YGO in your country, and what's your personal experience with it?
Looks like we're getting Over Frame Tokens.
And they look great so far. Gold monster outline, gold effect box and a thin border around the frame (instead of the whole frame). Looks like Gold Rare, but no art box trim and a thinner border.
Amazing at art well.
With the reveal of the Ra Yellow pack finally happening, it's clear we are probably getting a new limited pack each year to coincide with the Gx remaster, so next year should be the blue pack with season 3 cards. I was curious what cards there were from season 2, so and went a checked and there is around 126 cards that debuted in season 3 which could be chosen (provided I didn't miscount or miss any cards):
Ritual of the Ultimate Forbidden Lord
Several of these cards I doubt will be picked for this pack like the Wicked Runes, but there are some interesting things which could be chosen. This is most likely where we would see SFG printed despite it not visually appearing, and I wouldn't be surprised if some random monsters like Anchor Knight got printed as well.
The Japanese names of "Sky Scourge" monsters are references to airborne ships or characters from Final Fantasy III.
| Sky Scourge | Level | Attribute | Type | Origin |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Enrise | 8 | LIGHT | Fairy | Enterprise |
| Norleras | 8 | DARK | Fiend | Nautilus |
| Invicil | 6 | EARTH | Fairy | Invincible |
| Cidhels | 6 | EARTH | Fiend | Cid Haze |
The Japanese version of the "Sky Scourge" name, tenmashin, is a reference to the airborne ships from Final Fantasy III; mashin is partially homophonous with "machine", and ten means "sky", which combines with mashin to form "sky machine". All four monsters resemble shinigami.
Ignoring the fact that this starts a domino effect that leads to what is widely considered the worst ending of any Yugioh show, I think it’s a pretty interesting character moment.
I don’t think it’s that Ray necessarily thought less of her fragments like Zarc did, but rather she was looking at the bigger picture. With Zarc on the cusp of resurrecting, the best thing Ray can do is get there first so she can be ready to suppress Zarc’s come back before he becomes a problem again. It gives a sort of “ends justify the means” vibe, where stopping Zarc is most important and everything else is second to that.
It’s quite an awkward situation though, since she effectively turned her siblings against each other to buy time for her revival. I can’t help but wonder what a direct conversation between Ray and Reiji would look like. Wish Ray had more of a chance to be a fully developed character, but speculation can be fun too.
I can't wait for him to be animated
