Hi everyone,

Spontaneous trip change, originally were going to stay for a week in Halifax but decided to split the time and visit PEI for a few days. It will be me, my wife, and 10 year old.

Hotel is in Charlottetown for reference, but we have a rental car.

So many of the fun tours and events do not seem to start until later in May, June, and July.

We don't mind a lowkey trip and spending some time outdoors too and good food.

Any places you can think of that would still be accessible in May? And restaurant suggestions welcome too (I know ...I am also checking the usual Trip Advisor, past reddit posts, AI, etc. but would still welcome your insight).

Thank you!

Trying the corn starch + baking powder coating (Kenji Lopez-Alt's method) to see if I can get them nice and crispy.

Caught the crust a bit but the pie was still enjoyed. Pepperoni, onion, mushroom, and bacon - a modified 'Canadian' pizza.
