It's genuinely such a life hack. My confidence is noticeably better now.

I find it to be a very genuinely helpful way to hack my brain into actually making it happen. And then I feel so much more confident and esteemable in my day to day life because I know my place is clean.

The idea is. Once they have a few years to grow. There will be a cactus fence around the fence fence. Two layers of security to keep the javalina out. A physical deterrent. And also. Why go to all the trouble of breaking into the garden to eat my expensive (and bitter tasting) trichocereus. When you can just eat the prickly pears right there anyway? So it's a physical barrier. And a decoy. And also. Just. A big purple circle of prickly pear around the garden will look pretty and interesting and stuff.

The substrate is about 80% perlite 20% soil if anyone is wondering. Extra extra extra well draining since the plot is so incredibly large.
