How to boost engagement with browse abandonment emails in klaviyo?

I have been running browse abandonment email flows in klaviyo, but the numbers are kinda underwhelming. the traffic is there, but these emails aren't driving the results i hoped for. It feels like were not tapping into the full potential of the people who are just browsing and not adding to their cart.

I am thinking the issue might be with how were targeting them. were just sending a generic hey come back to your cart message, but what if we could get more specific? like, using what they actually browsed and making the emails feel more personalized to their browsing behavior. maybe even triggering emails when they spend a certain amount of time on a product page or browse multiple items in the same category.

Any tips on timing, personalization, or using dynamic content to show exactly what they viewed or looked at the most? just looking for a way to get these emails working harder for us.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Klaviyo not tracking return visitors. How to fix data gaps for better sales?

Hey reddit, i am running into a problem with klaviyo. Its not recognizing return visitors or repeat purchases, which is messing up our data. For a high traffic luxury brand, this means were missing key insights and personalized email flows, which could be affecting our sales.

I am thinking of improving the integration to better track returning customers or possibly switching to a platform that's more reliable for this kind of data. Has anyone here faced similar issues and found a good solution?

Looking for ways to fix this and ensure more accurate tracking moving forward. Appreciate any suggestions...

How to boost engagement and sales with personalized cart abandonment emails?

We have got cart abandonment flows set up, and they are driving about 80% of our email sales. But here's the thing, i feel like there's a lot of room to improve the engagement. The open rates are decent, but the click through and conversion rates aren't where i want them.

I have been thinking about adding personalized product recommendations based on what they left behind in their cart, but not sure how to make it feel natural and not too pushy. Have you guys had success with more dynamic content like this?

Would love to hear your strategies for tweaking cart abandonment emails to make them more engaging.

Klaviyo not tracking loyal visitors.

Hey reddit, im facing an issue with Klaviyo not tracking website visits or page views accurately. A lot of loyal customers arent getting the right emails, even after theyve visited the site. Its frustrating because were missing out on targeting people who are already familiar with our brand.

I have been considering using a high accuracy visitor tracking software or exploring B2C identity resolution platforms to solve this. Maybe something like Opensend or even Tie B2C data could be an option for better targeting and list growth?

Would love to hear about your experiences with list enrichment software and if any CRM tools for Shopify helped you with this problem.

Thanks in advance.

Is cookie based tracking Outdated for ecommerce?

Does cookie based tracking even make sense anymore with users switching devices, blocking tracking, and caring more about privacy?

So i run a shopify store with higher end stuff and those popup forms offering discounts to grab emails feel all wrong. Makes the whole brand look desperate and cheapens it right away.

Traffic is decent but converting visitors to subscribers without that popup crap is tough. I need something smarter like visitor identification or ecommerce tracking that spots who abandons carts or browses without buying. Then hit them with proper lifecycle emails later.

Looked into B2C identity resolution platforms and high accuracy visitor tracking software. Stuff for cart abandon detection, data enrichment, or CRM list enrichment tools. Maybe Revenue Roll alternatives or Customersai type things for B2C data.

Anyone using these successfully without popups? Like Opensend vs Tie B2C data, Wunderkind competitors, or Elevar alternatives for visitor identification.

What works for you guys?/

We have been struggling to capture shoppers in our web behavior based email flows, with so many unknown visitors. After weeks of research, i settled on revenue roll for B2C identity resolution, thinking it would solve our issues by matching unknown traffic to emails.

I set it up last week, integrated with Klaviyo, and tested it. Things started off well, with cart abandonment flows firing correctly and recovered sales. But then this morning, I saw 80k emails sent overnight, great open rates, but huge problems. The data enrichment matched about 40% of traffic, but half of those were old visitors or people who never even added to the cart. We spammed total strangers with messages like, Saw you eyeing that jacket! People were pissed, unsubscribing, and deliverability tanked.

I missed the filter for recent sessions only, and now Im dealing with the fallout. Support is working on alternative solutions, but this cannot happen again.

Does anyone have advice on how to fix deliverability after something like this?

hey all,

i am Running a shopify store and Klaviyo was supposed to handle all the customer behavior tracking, but it's not catching website visits or page views at all.

Set up the integration properly, added the snippet to theme, everything looks good on their end, but flows show zero activity from actual shoppers browsing products. Without this data, my emails don't work properly, things like abandoned cart and repeat buyer triggers wont run right.

Tried reinstalling the integration, checked browser console for errors, even tested with different customer accounts but still nothing. Klaviyo support just says check your setup again.

Has anyone dealt with this, is there a better way to track this stuff?
