My computer has been freezing. I don't know what's causing it, but it doesn't do it while I'm playing games. It will freeze anywhere from 10 seconds to a minute. It isn't consistent in regards to when it does it, time between freezes, etc. Task manager doesn't show anything, Malwarebytes doesn't show anything, I just factory reset my computer and that didn't do anything.

At this point, thinking it might be a hardware issue, any suggestions on how to test that without physically removing the parts?

I just factory reset my computer and my headset is not picking up or receiving audio. mmsys.cpl shows that setting it to default plays audio through it. But no mic is picked up from the audio, and I can't hear anything through the headset.

• I have tried plugging it into different spots that I can confirm do work via speakers, and I have tested them on another device to confirm the headset itself still works
• I have updated my sound drivers directly from my motherboards drivers
