With the downfall of Reggie Pinks, New Rock, and now Empire Harley... Is there anyone local you guys are trusting to do your work?
Hoping I don't need to leave my bike in Newburgh whenever it needs something done :(
Not meaning regular maintenance most can do at home, I mean more involved work. Especially fairing work on these new glides lol
I am curious what people think about the future of HD?
I drive a road king and love it, considering taking on a second bike (road glide) as well.
But as for the company, around me I see stores closing, not seeing new ones opening. The brand is powerful, but most people with more than 3 brain cells don't buy stuff directly from moco if they can avoid it.
I feel the new generations don't tool much, which makes maintenance and repair costs a much larger consideration, especially given the prices at the stealership
Even many of us who do own a wrench or two, are mostly lost with the increasing amount of electronics and new tech.
Just wondering if anyone has put thought into it.

Does that mean if a cop stops someone and somehow sees they have a rifle in the car, but it happens to be separated.. They can't say anything?
Just asking out of curiosity. Wondering if that's true how does anyone ever get caught with an unregistered (besides those caught actually using it)
Maybe 8 years ago my FB got locked up and it told me something like "we see you aren't using your real name, so we locked your acct until you show us proof of name"
I had my name as:
First: Stan
Last: Lee
(example)
So I sent my ID, and they said I need to change my name to match my ID, which is Stanley + last name
(using Stan lee/Stanley as an example, very similar to actual)
So I did, and it un locked me.
But since then I'm not able to change my name, says "sorry, you've already verified your name" and doesn't give any options.
I have a sensitive law enforcement job and cannot be shown as my full govt. But there is no option to change it.
First, why did this happen to me? I see billions of ppl with the most ridiculous names you can think of, why was I made to verify?
And how can I work around this somehow

They've been cracking down on cardboard lately I think, more than usual. I had some garbage in a box which they removed and left the box. A bit far, but np I understand.
Then they took items that were in their own boxes, emptied the item out, and left the box???
I mean brand new items (not new, I mean fully packaged).
One such is attached, was fully in the box with Styrofoam and everything. They opened the package, took the product, just so they can leave the box??
Or maybe I'm out my damn mind, I feel like this is crossing a line, opening our garbage to pick and choose stuff
