I might have to sue Citi… Has anyone had to go to this length before? I’m so frustrated.

Citi refused to permanently instate a credit that I disputed against a dentist for balance billing. It’s been a long, ugly fight and lots of feet dragging and waiting (allegedly.)

I’ve escalated to the ERU, CFPB, now the CCO. Next step will be court. I don’t want to take it there but will on principle.

I’m not able to discuss details beyond this. Oddly, every time I post something on this sub critical of Citi, a bank known for shoddy customer service, the comments from either higher up employees or bots defend Citi yet neglect to ask for clarification on my end— something I’m seeing with Citibank as an entity (in my experience.)

All this to ask, if you’ve had to take it this far, how did it go? I know my case is rock solid, and I will take it to small claims. I just want to give them the chance to do the right thing.

Citi vs CFPB

Every single time I have to chase Citi down, they make me go through the CFPB for a response to keep running me in circles. I hate this shit bank so much. Absolutely useless scumbags.

Paraguay?

Practicing Spanish for a year now with a 10 year plan to GTFO of the US and move to Paraguay. Is there anyone that’s moved to South America that has advice? Still brewing/prepping in the infant stages, stacking cash and learning the language for now.

My neighbor has this ability and I’m so envious!!! Her perfume lingers for hours after she leaves and I’ve never been able to figure it out. How do you guys do it?

I’ve been fighting a $600 charge for almost 2 months now. I made the mistake of putting it on my Costco Citi card and it’s been hell trying to claw it back. They just talk me off the phone and ignore emails. Has anyone had success getting refunded? I’m cancelling my card after this. No amount of evidence is helping.

What’s with the bots coming here begging? Mods, step it up it’s every other post. And if you’re coming here to ask for money consider reading the rules this isn’t the sub for that.

Serious need of advice I’m going to Disney today I don’t want to leave my lobe open but changing this has been hell and it hurts my husband can’t seem to push through the back. I left the earring out overnight because when I tried changing this yesterday it bled a lot. I’m ready to give up. :(

Tried to change my flat back earrings (5 months old) my husband left the tiny rubber stopper on the back and when he put the earring in, it didn’t hurt much until he put the stud in and then it felt way too tight. He pulled it out and immediately my ear started pouring blood. It stopped after 10 seconds and my ear was swollen so I left it overnight. Today, there’s no pain or swelling. I’m going to Disney today I’d like to try to put the earring back in if you think it’s safe to do.

First pic was following an attempted replacement. When my husband tried to help replace it, it started pouring blood so we left the earring out over night. Pics are immediately following that, an hour later, then this morning. I have flat back studs in. 5 months old. One ear has been the best, feels almost fully healed. This one has been a day 1 nightmare and I’m so frustrated I want to give up. :( I also have a hyper-sensitive vagus nerve so when I try to replace my earrings I’m simultaneously fighting a fainting spell…

My question is, can I try again? Should I?

If you live in an apartment, I’ve seen a lot of homeless folks scouring the dumpster and the little rooms next to them where people often leave boxes, furniture etc. for shoes and other supplies. If you have an old pair of shoes, consider leaving them somewhere for the homeless to find as they appreciate them.
