TIPS FOR IOQM NEEDED.

Hiee i am in 10th and i am preparing for ioqm . I attempted last yrs paper and got 12 marks from 0 prep. Am in a coaching rn and i am gonna start preparing from 1 june , let see what happens , tips would be greatly appreciated and a roadmap too. ( i am pretty good at maths , have scored full marks consistently in all coaching , school tests upto now and i am in aakash but they barely teach ioqm,)

Ea thought they were slick but we know basic maths

So we know how ea decreased the pool a draft guaranteed pool to 70 instead of 100 , but what we fail to see is the probability change , they ha e decreased the probability to 1.5 percent

By sum basic maths , chance of getting card before the guaranteed spin before was

1-(0.98)¹⁰⁰= 86.7% chance but know it's 1-(0.985)⁷⁰= 65.3%, chance of getting it before guaranteed spin

A staggering difference of 11.4% and ea thought they made the system a lot better

On paper it seems as improvement but the draft system with probabilities is pretty complicated and can't be just straight up taken as " 70 or 100" , a lot of other factors hae to be put in too.
