May 12 - Consistency > Perfection

Today’s stats:
• 7h 4m study time
• 93% focus score
• 14/15 sessions done
• 2-day streak restarted

Weekly progress:
• 14.9h total study time
• Average still close to 7h/day

After my long streak ended recently, I honestly thought it would completely kill my momentum.

Usually after missing one day, I would slowly stop studying for the whole week.
This time I tried something different:
instead of feeling guilty, I just accepted that I needed rest and started fresh the next morning.

And weirdly… it made studying feel lighter again.

I think a lot of students burn out because they treat every single day like a competition.
Some days your brain is sharp, some days it’s tired. Both are normal.

The important part is coming back.

One thing helping me a lot recently is lowering the “starting pressure.”
I don’t force myself to think about studying 8 hours anymore.

I just open the laptop and study for 30 mins.
That’s it.

Most of the time once you begin, continuing becomes much easier than starting.

Slow progress still beats disappearing completely.

shall i sleep or study?

hii, 12th pcm student here. i js studied physics today. didnt even watch lectures as my exams are near and i've decided to prepare for them first. decided to do maths at the start of the day but watched a movie instead. ik im dumb. also, i my sleep schedule is fucked up. i've only slept for 8+3 hrs(slept for 3 hrs this afternoon) since the past 3 days. i'll be taking an off from school tomorrow to study for my exams tomorrow. shall i sleep right now so that i can be productive for whole day tomorrow or practice maths till 3 and then sleep?

Day 2 of May - pushed a little harder today.

Today’s stats:

  • 8h 30m study
  • 94% focus
  • 16/17 sessions
  • 1h breaks
  • 31-day streak

May so far:

  • 16.5h total
  • 33 sessions
  • 8.3h/day average

Didn’t aim for perfection ..... just a bit better than yesterday.
That’s how this builds up over time.

Consistency is still the main goal.

Closing out April with a solid finish.

Today’s stats:

  • 8h 10m studied (goal achieved)
  • 94% focus score
  • 15/16 sessions completed
  • 55m breaks
  • 29-day streak

April 2026 overall:

  • Total study time: 217.8 hours
  • Total sessions: 432
  • Average per day: 7.3 hours

Ended the month exactly how I wanted.... consistent and controlled. From struggling to stay regular to averaging 7+ hours daily, this month shows what consistency can do.

29-day streak going into next month. No reset, just continue.
