Albums that are Batman coded?

... it's exactly what it sounds like. I'm trying to get more into Batman comics and having an album on in the background would help me focus. Lyrics or heaviness won't be a disturbance

I listen to predominantly nu metal and post-hardcore, so ofc I'd prefer smthng similar to those, but I'm very open to trying something new

Music recommendations based off my favorites?

As you can see above, I usually listen to nu metal and post-hardcore. I find metalcore interesting too. Any recommendations?

Movies about a metal band / featuring metal artists seriously?

Preferably nu metal as that's the genre I'm most interested in. Anything that goes into the intricacies of what it takes to keep the band afloat

Movies similar to The Nice Guys (2016)?

I just finished this one and it was awesome: I loved the father daughter dynamic, I loved this style of visual comedy that Ryan Gosling has just mastered, I loved how vibrant the color is everywhere and how the world still feels so sludgy and corrupt at the same time. Any film that can tick at least a couple of these same boxes?

I've also seen Under The Silver Lake and tonally it was a lot different than this one, but I still enjoyed it. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood was well made but I wasn't as invested in its characters. The Big Short has a very similar style of dialog that I really enjoyed, probably one of my favorite movies

Horror recommendations based off my favorites?

I've been trying to get more into horror and would appreciate some more recommendations. My personal favorites as of the moment are Sunshine (2007), As Above So Below (2014), and The Autopsy Of Jane Doe (2016). I also like both the first Alien (1979) and the original Exorcist (1973).

The genre I'm most interested are found footage and anything involving themes of isolation or the loss of innocence is an instant hook for me. Not the biggest fan of slashers, but I'm fine with most gore and body horror. Prefer more psychological elements tho
