3rd time I am grinding down this birchwood board we cut all our bread on, since I made it 13 years ago. Used 600 paper for the 1st time...always thought it was too much, I usually stop at 320. How high do you go for your kinds of wood?
Most of the things I make are ash, willow or birch, and I've always thought there won't be a tangible improvement beyond 320 grinding paper. But the 600 really was amazing...where do you stop?
Fullscreen YouTube in Opera for Android has recently given me lighter squares in the upper part of the screen. Why? Can I turn them off again?
I tried this so you don't have to: A timelapse of only clouds at a 90° angle.
Clouds rolling by are often absolutely essential to landscape and object timelapses, like this one:

Without clouds, it often gets boring. So, today, I tried to take it to the extreme. This is only clouds. Not even at an angle, just looking straight up.
Eh, well, I guess it makes me some sort of car sick. No need to do this twice, I guess.
[Samsung A54] People who actually watch dashcam videos: Do you prefer the one with the meta view from the dashboard, or just a clean dashcam clip?
Advises on the economy, or should I say, Economy?
Srsly, this is a bit over the top.
Going slow + no spatial awareness + wanting to drive mid-road = bad combo
She drove past me again when I walked from the car at my destination. Head deep in her phone, truck driving wavepatterns mid-road. Damn phones.
https://www.nve.no/konsesjon/konsesjonssaker/konsesjonssak/?id=7006&type=V-1
Where are the gems at?
I started watching K-dramas with CLOY in 2019 and there have been so many amazing shows. Good K-dramas were the #1 reason we went back to Netflix after a long hiatus from that service.
But...there are so many bad ones. I start a show and they remind me of telenovelas. Then there's stuff like "Boyfriend on demand" - I forced myself to watch almost 9 episodes, but the main characters have the chemistry of a stone and a stick.
So many shows are just bereft of ideas. They feel mass produced and absolutely not genuine. Lots of slow walks and clichés like snow and falling cherry flowers.
So...where are all the good dramas at? Like CLOY, Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung, Hometown Cha Cha Cha and all that?
Gymnosporangium clavariiforme (Uredinales, Pucciniaceae) shining super bright on a juniper.
The bright orange/yellow in a forest is really uncommon here at the Norwegian west coast at about 62°N. A clear sign to everyone: Don't eat me!?
