Farm Aid 1990 concert

Farm Aid 1990 concert

I was watching their performance at Farm Aid. Last performance for classic lineup. Thinking that the crowd that came to see them were probably expecting to hear their hit songs and not hear a new unknown song (Civil War) and a cover song. I noticed Steve tripped on something on the way to the drum kit.

Is getting strong at chess all about repetition?

I see a lot of players play the same opening as white and then have a main opening as black to play against 1.e4 and 1.d4. How come I see players who play the same opening for several months or sometimes years and their rating is still low or stuck at some level. If you play the same opening and see the same types of positions after your opening then wouldn't you know how to solve the same problem after playing over 100 games and become a master or an IM? I would compare it to a doctor that sees so many patients and can quickly diagnose an illness in a medical specialization and be a master of their medical domain.

Has anyone ever met the cast in real life?

I dont know if they had fan conventions back in 80s like modern day comic-cons. Unfortunately alot of popular actors from the 80s are older and they should try to do a fan convention soon. I am sure people would show up for the nostalgia and getting a picture with their favorite actor or actress.

Traveling 300 mph on Super Pursuit Mode

If a car travels 300 mph while on super pursuit mode then does that mean it could take off in the air like an airplane? Because at that speed isn't the air pressure above the car lighter which would allow lift? Also does what the car does to the front grill really make the car more aerodynamic?

During the fight scenes, it always give me a chuckle when I see him or his stunt double doing the crane kick from the Karate Kid (or a jumping crane kick)

I am currently in season 3 and noticed that alot of episodes feature Michael Knight wearing sunglasses. The tint is of course not too dark so you can still see the actor's face and eyes. I was wondering if wearing sunglasses with such big lenses was the fashion back the 80s. These glasses are big and the lenses and frames have big coverage over Hasselhoff's face. I dont see anyone wearing such big sunglasses in current day except maybe a senior citizen who is trying to get good coverage against the sun.

I think Strawberries season is starting soon on the eastern shore. are there any places where you get fresh picked strawberries in Annapolis without having to go to the eastern shore or is there a farmers produce stand nearby?

I just watched this episode and this episode has the greatest use of old footage that I ever seen. During film editing they must have thought let's put as much old footage as we can. There is so much old footage from season 1 with KITT driving on a deserted road or the outro from season 1 episodes. Also the ending has Michael drive KITT to clip an airplane wing in the middle of the night. The footage is taken exactly from the very first episode Knight of the Phoenix. At the end of the Dead of Knight episode the airplane explodes and you see the people on the airplane fall to the ground. The editors totally took the same explosion from the Knight of the Phoenix and you see the Tanya Walker actress with a briefcase holding the Comptron secrets fall to the ground and the other three people from the same episode. Then this mysterious briefcase shows up in the follow up scene for Dead of Knight. They included a random blond actress on the airplane just before it explodes for editing continuity.

Instead of Dead of Knight, they should have called the episode Season 3 Ep 9 "The Knight to remember....again" or "The episode where we saved on the budget"
