Hi ladies,

I'm going on my first ski trip this winter (my first experience with snow as well). May I know what to wear on top of thermals as the 2nd and 3rd layers? We'll be renting ski jackets and pants for skiing for the 3rd layer, but what about other times when we're not skiing?

We're going from Sydney to Perisher. We're not sure to rent snow chains from Cooma or Jindabyne? It's easier for us to pickup from Jindabyne because we're picking up.the skis from there as well but not sure if we need to carry/put on the chains between Cooma and Jindabyne? Can we drive without chains until Jindabyne and pick up from there?
