Sorry they aren't cut yet. Believe me, I'm dying to see what some of these bad boys reveal lol. I only know of 2 people kinda close to me that cut for people but they've both been busy. The 1st 7 pics are Jackson County finds from a few days ago. The rest are from not far off. That's a 12" square laying on the big boy. The round 1 is same size as a basketball. I really like the agate thunderegg but it was my brother's find. I only cut it for him but my method is a masonry saw and it doesn't leave nice flat cuts. I'm building my own trim saw currently but til then I gotta just wait til someone can cut some of these

I searched numerous forums yesterday and I've seen at least 3 different mentions of the belt size that bypasses the ac pulley. I've read everything from 79" to 83". Can someone that has done it on an 06 model tell me what size worked for you? I understand that a slight variation in length can still work because of the tensioner so please let me know of 1 that worked for you. My daily driver is a v8 and it is costing me 15 every trip to town right now so I want to get it right the 1st trip

I think it's got a tiny fish in it along with all the other neat fossils. Every fossil in it is a pinkish translucent material so I think it's all agatized

I only very recently got access to a spot there and between all the wild rocks I see while hunting there and videos of people cutting them I don't want to be throwing down a good agate unknowingly but also don't like packing extra weight of a dud. This is pretty smooth, has some weight, and has a nodule looking thing or 2 on the lower pic. Some of the KY agates I see being cut look almost like an ordinary rock to me on the outside. When I see the common geode looking ones or botryoidal ones I immediately know. I'm like 95% sure that my 1st and 2nd trip over there that I tossed agate back down without realizing because today I found the same stuff with a broken portion that showed a little banding. It's my understanding that agate there can still be inside a little limestone or whatever they form in
