Grabbed a few rocks on the field and found this area with bigger specimens of agate pebbles. Next weekend I’m going to search it more precisely.

First slab off of a big laguna lace and i love it so much!

So many different colors, I could get lost in it for a long time.

Its from south dakota and any ideas on what its worth or what should i do woth it tumble whole or cut it?

This is my latest stone knife, it was my first time using snake river agate for the blade and I’m very happy with how it turned out. Cheers

Found that image one day and I thought it looked interesting. it‘s full of polished fancy agates, and I wonder if there are even more below that pile.

The seller said they are all blue lace agates tho Im not sure. Wish I could polish them, but I cant pay for a professional machine unfortunally.

For now im just gonna buy some citric acid to clean them

Into the citric acid bath they go! This is definitely my largest haul ever. At times I wasn’t sure I would make it back to the car with the 30+ pounds of rocks strapped to my back 🫣. These are from Washington state.

Been collecting these in northern Utah, any ideas on the best way to polish the first agate!? I’ve been collecting for years but haven’t tried tumbling them until recently
