No, not the band
Found this half molar while hunting the Alafia river this morning. Super stoked. This spot produced a few horse teeth, larger shark teeth, tortoise shell and lots of larger bones. Was a very productive morning.
Last shot is my patio table with the last 3 trips still unsorted. Not sure how my wife puts up with me, but I'm glad she does
I’m gonna clean it up one of the next few days, but have to prepare, so it won’t get ruined.
I found a lot of nice things these last few days, but this must be one of the best
i’m driving up the California and Oregon coast from Los Angeles to Portland. What are some spots for fossil hunting for a beginner up the coast? thanks :)
Hi everyone! I am going to Rennes in France for 10 days and Copilot says I could find fossils on beaches there.
Is that true? If so, which beach? Or is inland better?
Help a fellow fossil hunter out :D
Greetings from Holland.
Found at St audries bay, England UK 🇬🇧😁 if anyone has any information about this cool looking thing that would be amazing. First time ever fossil hunting today.
a minha avó tem este caracol enorme já á imenso tempo, um dia fui pesquisar e não encontrei nada de semelhante encontrado em Portugal
The plate looks like a broken off piece of bone/skull?
The small ones look like fish vertebra but I’m not sure
I found these in a random field along the side of the road. It happens to fall within the Allegheny formation of Pennsylvania. Lots of shale outcroppings.
Found this at Dorset England while fossil hunting, (along with some ammonites) does anyone know if this is anything?
I crossed the river to go fossil hunting after spotting fresh landslides — and discovered a true fossil goldmine.
Gastropod and echinoid fossils were everywhere, many in incredible condition.
I had also observed on Google Earth that there were some roads on this side of the bank that appeared to have some exposed rocks, and the color of the soil seemed to be what I usually find whenever I discover fossils. I went there and it was a goldmine in terms of gastropod and echinoid fossils. I definitely have to go back there..
