Former USPS supervisor pleads guilty to stealing $369K in checks from mail
fox5ny.comI’m not going to say that “weeeeeeeee!” doesn’t go through my head every time, but that’s because sometimes I actually say it.
One issue with riding videos is my inability to show the terrain as rising or falling. You can’t see how steep this is, but I usually get to 28 mph on my Rambler going down this hill.

Tone deaf groups asking for sale tax increases
Was at a public event today and several not-for-profit groups were taking surveys, collecting signatures, and handing out brochures etc. One group was asking for support for their proposed bill that would increase their funding through a sales tax increase. I had to ask. With the legislature proposing to eliminate income taxes through a sales tax increase, we already pay more than 10% in sales tax, the previous governor on his way out the door (Parsons) signed into law a steadily increasing sales tax on gasoline (Parsons made his living running gas stations and earned his GED as his qualifications to serve as governor), WHY would anyone want to vote for even more sales tax. I suggested that every agency and group seems to see a sales tax increase as the magic bullet for their problems and what they are doing is killing Missouri’s economy by driving up prices on literally everything. There is a shrinking retail market when the taxes on purchases are so high that no one can afford to buy even necessities. How about a bill to eliminate sales tax and food, electricity, and gasoline?
