Can removing followers help a year-old tiny account?

I've had my account for 1 year, with extremely low growth. I'm talking more posts than followers growth. I've been posting at least once a day for the past month and only got around 23 new followers.

When I made my account I paid for boosting and got some random follows that way. Some friends and family followers, and also participated in one or two "follow back" posts. I'm not sure how many followers that made up of the total though.

Problem is that now I have 180 followers, and maybe 1 or 2 of them have ever engaged or liked my stuff. I have a dead account and I'm posting things that only me and my family members like, even though they're high quality posts.

I literally spend 2 days creating a nicely laid out carousel post and literally only me and my siblings have liked it.

I'm considering paying for boosting, but I wonder if going in and deleting my followers from oldest to newest would help "reset" my algorithm?

What is your white whale?

Every time I've commented on posts like this with my white whale, I have received it in my RFY. No guarantees or promises, but worth a try!

I'm currently looking for some nice high quality audiophile wireless earbuds. Like the Sony WF-1000XM6. But I am totally down for other brands like Technics or Sennheiser. Or even smaller brands like Earfun, Moondrop, Soundpeats 🤞

Why are my peers who still use Facebook so cringe?

I'm '94 so I'm nowhere near Boomer category and on the younger end of the millennials, but every time I open FB to chat with my family I see posts from people I literally graduated high school with post the most cringe things in the world. I'm talking AI slop, cryptic status quotes, wannabe influencer dancing videos, etc. All with 1-2 likes and comments as well.

Does anyone else experience this? Is it just survivorship bias, only cringey people are still using FB, precursor to a mid life crisis, mental breakdown, trying to make facebook cool again?

Asking again for recommendations: earbuds for music

I have only ever used Samsung wireless buds but I don't feel like I can upgrade to the buds 4 pro because my phone is older (galaxy s22). My buds 2 are still going strong for like 5 years, but I'm looking for something that feels like a big upgrade - better sound quality specifically. I'd also prefer something that stays in my ears.

Budget: I'm pretty hesitant to spend a lot of money on a brand I don't have years of trust with, so the cheaper the better.

Music: I listen to metal, shoegazey "wall of sound" kind of music, so I'd love something that would help bring out each instrument while still sounding good overall.

Ones I've been seriously considering:

  1. Soundpeats H3
  2. EarFun Air Pro 4+

Why do people even use Instagram if they skip every video?

This is a half genuine question and half rant. What are people on Instagram *actually* looking to see?

Every single video I post has extremely high skip rate, zero engagement. And before you say its because my videos suck, I posted the same exact video on Tiktok

Instagram: 150 views, 2 likes
Tiktok: 1900 views, 80 likes

So clearly the video is not the issue here. It is either the Instagram algorithm consistently serving my videos to the wrong audience, or the Instagram userbase skipping every video, which begs the question, what are they actually hoping to see? Maybe I need to tune my content better for the Instagram audience I just literally have no idea how.

Are buds 4 pros worth it for older galaxy devices (s22) or should I go with some LDAC earphones

Hi guys I'm looking to upgrade my buds 2 but I still have an s22 which is perfectly functional so I don't feel a need to upgrade, especially in this economy. I know s22 doesn't support UHQ. And I also have a windows PC, and I can't find a clear answer online whether there is a proper seamless switch (seamless switch between my buds 2 and windows is doggy doodoo)

The other options I'm looking at are a pair of budget earphones which support LDAC and multipoint. But which would be better: SSC Buds 4 Pros or LDAC capable earphones like earfun 4s.

also I did some basic research into this but most of it is going over my head tbh

Yes yes I know anonymity and all that, but you can have an anonymous Instagram account.

When you post a question on reddit it's somewhat rare to get 0 comments. You usually at least get a few people commenting, engaging with each other, cracking jokes, and more. But getting people to engage on Instagram is like pulling teeth, even if you ask a question.

Even if you're trying to help them, I posted 2 reels asking for small content creators in my niches to comment so I can find their account and follow/engage with their posts. I'm not doing that to go viral or anything but only because I want to find similar accounts to connect with because discovery on instagram sucks. Literally 0 people comment on those reels. Like I'm not asking them to do anything or even reciprocate, they just have to comment.

Are there any actual tips to get people to engage on instagram? Constantly feeling like I'm talking to a wall is soul crushing even for an introvert like me.

It's a camera.. it doesn't have any counting mechanism, timer, or what the heck is a quick-reference tool?

Hi guys I used to have a galaxy buds 1, then upgraded to the 2s, which is what I have currently. I want to upgrade for my birthday and I was almost ready to check out on the galaxy 4 pros but then I did a bit more research and I'm second guessing myself.

I have the Galaxy s22 phone, and not looking to upgrade anytime soon. I'm worried that the 4 pros will have a bunch of features that won't even work on my older phone and I'd be overpaying for those features.

I also use multiple devices, a windows PC (microsoft), S22, and ipad pro. I don't really use the earbuds with the ipad but I like to switch between PC and phone often. The lack of seamless switching between devices seems like it'll be a negative. Although I've never used multipoint switching before so I don't know if it's an important feature to me. Right now when I use seamless connection mode with my PC and phone, it switches erratically and randomly, not when I need it to.

Here is what I want in earbuds.

  1. High audio quality for music. I stopped using spotify now I buy albums from bandcamp and I can download them in flac so I want earbuds that will be able to do them justice. However I don't want something super bass heavy and muddy sounding, I listen to metal that benefits from having more clarity.
  2. something that just works. Right now I can't do phone calls with my buds 2, I have to disconnect them every time I get a call just so I can talk on the phone. There is also a high pitch whine when I listen to them in bed.
  3. high quality, matching Samsung and Apple in terms of flagship quality and brand trust
  4. comfort and fit. I know this one is extremely subjective, but the buds 2 keep falling out of my ear and are really annoying to wear.

I'm sick in bed and can't breathe. My dad was at CVS picking up a few prescriptions and I told him to ask for some Sudafed for me. Turns out he asked, and they told him to go get it from the aisle. He sent me pictures and of course it was the useless kind. He didn't end up buying it and I'm still in my predicament.

I've never bought Sudafed before, every advice just says to go to the pharmacy counter and ask for it, but that didn't work. Am I supposed to slip the cashier a $5 while I ask, or find a guy wearing a trenchcoat out back?
